I'm an original fag, the site we used to make fun of back in 2003-04 was Ebaum's World and would blame all the raids on them. Shitting on other sites has always been a core part of 4chan's culture. Reddit has just lingered because it didn't die like SA, Digg, or Tumblr.

peoples first instinct when meeting chris was to nitpick him to paint him as a racist and a pedophile and to relentlessly torment him with fake girlfriends going as far as to fake deaths and try to have him anally violate himself with what they assumed where beloved sentimental items that they wanted him to destroy. people just didnt give as much of a fuck then because they didnt have a lot of direction. the bitterness and cynicism was always there and probably more so actually people just kinda reveled in everything they could because they abandoned alot of their socio political and economic hopes completely and now they dont and its a big drive to where and how people post.
