Can't really feel bad for the 4chan jannies, I don't even try to be a piece of shit cause I use very niche boards, and sometimes I'd get banned and there wouldn't be a provided reason, or I wasn't even trying to shit on someone and still get banned for things like "racism" or "trolling outside of /b/"
I've really hated the moderation on 4chan for some time now, I've encountered some really retarded, really biased, mods in the past, like they would refuse to delete an obvious off topic thread, letting it stay up for days, BANNING people for calling the mod out, with reasons like "criticizing 4chan moderation" as the reason, and it wouldn't get resolved unless you hop onto IRC and complain directly, then suddenly that off topic thread that was clearly made by a newfag janny, magically gets moved to the proper board and then magically archives immediately.

Can't really feel bad for the 4chan jannies, I don't even try to be a piece of shit cause I use very niche boards, and sometimes I'd get banned and there wouldn't be a provided reason, or I wasn't even trying to shit on someone and still get banned for things like "racism" or "trolling outside of /b/"
I've really hated the moderation on 4chan in for some time now, I've encountered some really retarded, really biased, mods in the past, like they would refuse to delete an obvious off topic thread, letting it stay up for days, BANNING people for calling the mod out, with reasons like "criticizing 4chan moderation" as the reason, and it wouldn't get resolved unless you hop onto IRC and complain directly, then suddenly that off topic thread that was clearly made by a newfag janny, magically gets moved to the proper board and then magically archives immediately.

"trolling outside of /b/" has for a long time been a catch-all for anytime a janny wants to ban you but can't think of a real reason
