So, has anyone been in /toy/? There has been some few infamous shitposters like with diosoth who unironically still seethes at trump and Jin saotome, then there's Athena who's been derailing threads for a couple of months who will always rants about America, gamers and action figures in general while shilling for Todd MacFarlane, and lastly there's subjectanon who's still doing the same shit for many years

MLP: Friendship is Magic came out in 2010. You are correct. They were more annoying then furries for a while because it was just a Trojan Horse for furries to shit up boards. /toy/ got sick of them fairly early on. /co/ at the time allowed threads, the issue was they would spam waifu threads. They got moved because enough people got pissed off and a lot of posters spammed gore and horses being slaughtered for meat in their threads. I started doing that because the threads would usually have pony porn under spoilers.
I remember back when MLP first became a thing in 2010-2011, pony spam severely fucked up /b/ and /v/ and brought an immense amount of hatred down on /co/ that made it difficult to use. /co/ basically became a warzone for the entire site. The people who watched the show were pretty quickly corralled into a general but everybody wanted to come and poke them with a stick. People were weirded out and/or annoyed by people watching and talking about MLP, so trolls on other boards started false flagging by posting MLP pics to rile them up constantly. Those people would then make threads on other boards or make 5 or 6 generals to try and get the show banned from the site. Eventually somebody told moot that if he made an MLP board and relegated all MLP-related content there, the whole thing would eventually die, so he did, which is what basically led to bronies being born.

Then Homestuck came along and the same thing started to repeat itself: segregating them into a general, people creating false flag threads to try to get them booted, etc. /co/ was so scared of creating another /mlp/ that they were ready to self-destruct to prevent it.

Bronies were actually very lucky that moot didn't permaban their show from the site. The whole thing would have just died off years ago if they weren't graced with their own personal board.

or they would have fled to some other site to share their autistic love for the show. These are Bronies we're talking about.

Anon figured out how modern women operate on an insular and self-conscious level.

More like they would have pulled the Samson Option /pol/ was always threatening if they got banned.
