a.4cdn.org and boards.4chan.org are running fine. sys.4chan.org in entirety is currently slow as molasses, everyone is complaining about the captcha but even sending out a post is taking it nearly a minute to acknowledge, so this isn't even a "lol they're trying to get you to just buy a gold pass to ignore it" kind of an ordeal.
By the way this is still an issue like an entire month later. I've spent half an hour already trying and failing to load this fucking captcha over and over again. I cleared cookies and whatever the fuck, did absolutely nothing to help with the issue.
I'm just not going to post anything. Fuck this shit.
Am I fucking retarded or have they made the captchas unsolvable despite a correct answer. I used to post on 4chan all the time but they made the captcha system fucking terrible. I tried to post today for the first time in a long time and no matter how many times I gave the captcha a correct answer, it would not let me post. Is this some gay ploy to get people to buy 4chan passes? They have made the site completely unusable. They should make it as easy as possible to post to drive engagement.

A good and recent example is the Stop Killing Games initiative being banned from /v/ even though it's extremely relevant because the outcome of SKG might reshape the entire industry.
OC threads are no longer a thing because these threads simply die in the sea of twitter screencaps and goonershit, there's zero incentive to do something interesting on the board. So things do get lost in the ocean of noise, it's just that the whole thing is so common now people no longer see the difference.
Personally I don't see a difference between a thread being destroyed by redditors and a thread being derailed by a bunch of mentally unwell individuals (and ultimately deleted by the janny). Both serve the same purpose and both are common on each websites. 4chan makes it even easier because it doesn't require a consensus, the barriers to samefagging and spamming the thread from multiple IPs are nonexistent.
I don't know what it is with 4cuck's jannies and shutting down anything that could make the site relevant. "No, anon child, you cannot talk about Stop Killing Games because that might rock the boat too much and make /v/ do something interesting. Enjoy your 3 day ban."

Attempts to access the board are met with the message "File not found." instead of a 404, so it's not totally gone. Since the beginning of the mass AI revolution, /r/, which is non-worksafe, unlike its kissing-cousin /wsr/ (which does still exist), has been used almost exclusively for begging for somebody else to make nude AI deepfakes of real women posted by OP, which inevitably gets the pictured woman deepfaked into images of them with big black dicks instead because OP is a faggot. I haven't seen any official statements on what happened yet, but the main use of the board could just be seen as too much of a liability now with the threat of "revenge porn" laws getting beefed up around the country.

afaik all this shit happens on /b/ too but i think with /b/ the idea is that it moves quickly enough that the really gnarly shit posted on it don't get attention.
I've given up posting on 4chan. Either I have to wait 3 minutes to get past the captcha, or else I discover my IP has been banned again because someone shit posted on /co/ with a VPN and the autistic jannies range banned the IP globally. I single out /co/ in particular since it was almost always /co/ jannies perma banning my IP address for no reason. I never even posted on /co/. Their solution is "gib money for 4chan account" but I don't care enough about 4chan to give them money.
It was much much funnier when first wave AI chuds would dignifAI women. Now that the jeets, browns, and degen niggerfaggots have access to it, there is no more fun to be had.
