Good to know about cytu.be, but I question the idea of a central go to place for all streams of pirated channels. I'd love to see an argument win in court that says that, by providing an IP in a live tv format that's different than the one the rights holder produces (IE: if you air shows that they don't air anymore, or perhaps the IP owner no longer runs a tv channel in any capacity and the only availability is streaming), it's considered transformative enough to fall under DMCA or something. In other words, the sum of the parts can its own entity, rather than just just a bunch of pirated videos aired in rapid succession. After all, I'd argue the experience counts for something.
But that will never happen. Make no mistake, these are all piracy. They are highly illegal in the eyes of everyone except the people who enjoy them. But unlike torrenting or something like TPB, It's not like you can just move the site to a new domain. Sure, the site can be moved, but, and I'm by no means versed enough in streaming protocols to verify this, I'd be concerned about not only the site getting hit, but also the people streaming to it getting hit. Just feels like painting a target on your back, though I suppose one could argue vaughn is the same.... But at least there's some legit people there to bury yourself into obscurity.
