2026 Minneapolis ICE riots - Suicidal Empathy and its consequences

Trump is sending in Tom Homam White house border czar to Minneapolis with an apparent agreement with Tim Walz that the state will turn over illegals in their jails/prisons and have local police support ICE agents removing the need for border patrol agents backing up ICE.

Libtards are declaring victory over this, but I think it's a subtle win for the Trump administration personally especially if dems think they won.

I saw this reposted on Xitter earlier today by a couple accounts and there were people commenting that Trump made a deal with Tim Walz that would compel the police and national guard to cooperate fully with ICE in exchange for Walz walking from the fraud scandal. Obiously that's ridiculous and I'm no political analyst, but I don't think that's how these things have ever worked out, certainly not in as high profile a situation as $9 billion+ worth of welfare fraud.

It's clearly doomperpilled misinformation. Walz is getting investigated and will probably end up testifying in court, but I can't shake the feeling that if there is a shred of truth to such a compromise between him and Trump, that same compromise is going to be made to favor the Minnesota democratic machine in a way that will allow it to recover of a D wins the presidency in '28.

It also has to be pointed out again that this is only happening in Minnesota. This has not happened anywhere else in the country, including Libshit strongholds like North Carolina, California and Illinois where similar operations were carried out.

The entire reason things are escalating in Minesotta is because the State Government there has gone a step beyond passive non compliance. In California, Newsom refused to help ICE, but the moment unorganized mobs of people started to cause issues the LAPD showed up. The LAPD also showed up when Federal Agents started getting accosted in the streets by mobs and they requested support from the City. It kept things relatively calm, and when the Mexicans started to riot Newsom was smart enough to realize the images of people burning Waymo cars while waving the flags of foreign countries in an American city was bad fucking optics and would give Trump an excuse to come down like a sack of bricks, and he shut that shit down hard.

Walz on the other hand has done the exact opposite. He is encouraging this shit, and telling the Feds to not enforce Federal Law in his state. Which is just waving the flag at the bull. And while I fucking hate Newsom, I will never say that Newsom is a retard. Newsom is an intelligent asshole. And asshole yes, but not a retard. Newsom is young and has his sights on 2028 and trying to be president. He is the closest thing to a presidential candidate the DNC currently has, as dire and sad as it sounds. So he is toning it down and practicing realpolitik to safeguard his own future and chances.

He already lost his show at VP and the Somali fraud scandal has destroyed his career since at the very best he was making a effort to look the other way and not even try to check for fraud. Blacks and other minorities are just not very civic minded, asking why they don't protest is like asking why they're not as likely to volunteer at soup kitchens. They often don't share the same leftist ideology that other Dems do, they just vote for gibs and tribalism, or if they do share the ideology but won't bother to do anything except maybe vote.

First of all there aren't that many black people in Minnesota, it's an overwhelmingly white state minus the Somalians.

That stopped being true of Minneapolis itself in the late 80s and 90s when huge numbers of blacks moved in from Chicago and Milwaukee. That's when Minneapolis was dubbed "Murderapolis" as the murder rate skyrocketed. There was massive "white flight" from Minneapolis schools headed out to white suburbs for obvious reasons.

Minnesota is majority white, but there's far more non-Somali blacks that you might realize and not just in Minneapolis and Saint Paul. The top state for new residents moving to Minnesota is Illinois because there's still a big influx of public housing seeking blacks coming from Chicago.
