2025 US and Venezuela Conflict - Operation Just Cause 2: 2 Just 2 Cause

After the spectacle of Maduro giving out rifles to pretty much any citizen with two working limbs expecting to defend against the coastal invasion… just to be yoinked from the sky MGSV style.

I do wonder how much of this was actually literally just Trump asking for it. Like this has never happened before at this scale, they couldn’t even do things like this during Iraq and Afghanistan… the whole thing sounds an eight-year-old was asked to come up with a plan to abduct a world leader. “why don’t we just like I don’t know sending some really good military guys to like pick him up from the bed guys house maybe in a helicopter?”

Like I can imagine a bunch of high ranking military people in a war room, all arguing and talking about worst case scenarios, battle losses and prolonged wars, and then Trump just says “why don’t you guys just send some dudes in to get him? Or are you guys pussys?”
My wish is tomorrow Trump has Maduro tied up to the front of a pickup truck like a deer.
This actually sounds like it would be an AI generated image Trump would post to truth social.

What is the end game of the color revolution? Replace Ukraine with Venezuela for endless money laundering or another 20 year occupation? More importantly, how many Venezuelan "refugees" will suddenly appear to replace the Somalians that are out of vogue?
It’s Latin America. They’ll give up communism for a decade or two until things are more stable, then we will all do the whole thing over. It’s basically tradition at this point. A colorful part of their culture.

In the short term, probably to get a preference agreement signed by the next-in-line Venezuelan leader for kicking out China, no more oil for Cuba, favorable deals for Venezuelan oil, plus any sort of additional fig leafs in terms of dealing with narcotics.

Maybe even a deal to send all of the Venezuelans that Biden airdropped all over the US home.

Overall Trump doesn’t seem to be a foreign adventure nation-building sort of guy.

With the fall of Maduro, Brazil now becomes the commie autocracy of South America.

The local left was celebrating the lifting of tariffs against Brazil, as if this were a big victory for their daddy Lula. As it turns out, the negotiation was "we lift or ease the tariffs on your products and get your supreme court off the Magnitsky hook, and in exchange, you do nothing when we churro the Maduro."

Couldn't they find someone with an IQ above 80 to write these things? It's an embarrassment for the US that every statement is such poorly written LARP slop.

Cope, seethe and mald with the rest of the TES trannies.

Maybe not Cuba, but I do legitimately see us doing this with Iran next

No it should be Cuba. We conquered Cuba from the Spanish, the actual Spanish, in 1898. Cuba was set up as a puppet government, mostly for Americans to vacation too. I have in my possession a book from the 1920's that describes a visit to old Cuba. It was a paradise and Americans visiting had a massive impact on the local economy. I have no idea why we ever let it go.

I wonder how far back this was planned and specific to that if the military strikes against drug boats were merely "theater" that was perhaps even prearranged. (Or were they legitimate actions and the US was already decided on invading)

I have to believe the US wouldn't want to have senseless losses from a hostile military so we're Venezuelan forces made to stand down or given conflicting orders internally?
