Ok, now that I back at my pc I will write a general summary.
Nothing happened. Maduro was just a Political talkinghead left by chavez. He had no real sway on the politics of the country, he wanted to leave for years, but the Cubans did not let him. His exit was completely negotiated, the Venezuelan army is retarded but not that retarded, they would have seen them coming from a mile away. By the testimonies of Soldiers that survived the attack. They were basically told to leave without presenting resistance.
TLDR Maduro negotiated his exit, he will spill the beans in the US and live the rest of his life like Pool pot, assad.
Padrino Lopez, and Diosdado cabello, the ones actually ruling the country, are chilling. Most of the country is A ok, no large militarizations besides Caracas.
So possible scenarios
Military revolt: A large scale Fanb revolt created by the Power vacuum. Unlikely since Sebin, and DGCIM are still working as normal.
A negotiated "Peace" Trump may be able to strike a deal with them to reduce drug trade, and to make them follow a stance more aligned with the US. also unlikely.
Nothing. The most probable, none of the building blocks of the regime have been harmed, so besides a large credibility loss (Something that the Regime does not care about) they will keep moving as usual.
Venezuelan Opposition, even the elements backed by the US have been steadfast in their (Spiritual war) discourse, so if the US plans to go beyond this, they have not been notified.
2 things!
Chavismo has multiple deadmen switchs, to burn the country to the ground in case they are actually removed from power. Something similar to Saddam Oil fires, and they haven't triggered them yet.
And no, Chavismo cannot do a Vietcong, they don't have the supply lines logistics, Ideological fervor, or support from the population to do it.
