The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reports that, within the framework of a combined operation between security agencies of Venezuela and the United States in the southeast of Bolívar state, organized crime structures operating in the area were dismantled.

During the course of the operation, clashes occurred with members of these criminal structures, in which Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, alias “Niño Guerrero,” leader of a criminal organization, was neutralized.

The operation had specialized technological support and was carried out through mechanisms of cooperation and exchange of intelligence information between the authorities of both countries.

We congratulate all the officials and security agencies and institutions that participated in this successful operation.The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to the fight against organized crime and will continue to adopt the necessary measures to guarantee peace, tranquility, and the protection of our people.

You forgot to add that Espriella was the lawyer of Alex Saab, who used to be Maduro's frontman. Saab was arrested in 2020 on money laundering changes in Cape Verde, extradited to the US in 2021, later exchange for 10 Americans during negotiations between the Biden admin and Maduro. Later Saab was arrested, again, in Venezuela back in February of this year and extradited yet again to the US. With even Diosdado declaring in a press conference that Saab had been working with fake national ID all this time, shocking! Espriella claims he had no knowledge of Saab activities but no one really believes him, he has no business being a presidential candidate.
