I saw that one via a post on City-data forums, former Obama White House counsel and Goldman Sachs’ top lawyer Kathy Ruemmler, resigned after her emails showed close ties to Epstein.

NEW YORK (AP) — Kathy Ruemmler, the top lawyer at storied investment bank Goldman Sachs and former White House counsel to President Barack Obama, announced her resignation Thursday, after emails between her and Jeffrey Epstein showed a close relationship where she described him as an “older brother” and downplayed his sex crimes.
Ruemmler said in a statement that she would “step down as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Goldman Sachs as of June 30, 2026.”

This is the best way imo, decentralization has proven to be the most resilient way of information sharing. Just locally archive PDFs with the EFTAs intact, this naturally filters out the chaff aka the spam emails, walls of black, etc. and leaves behind the clean grain; the ones most likely to be eaten by whatever machine holds the key to the castle. Centralization means it takes one bunker buster to kill the entire thing.

My initial thought was that it was just words he had no plan on following through on. Much like the wall, immigration and all of his other promises. Propaganda. My assumption was Trumps thinking was he controlled the narrative and the average person would forget and move on to the next talking point and scandal.

This video about Bannon popped up on my feed and I’ve watched it through twice now. It is very interesting. If I believe what’s in the video, bringing up the files was Bannon’s idea, a redirection to take attention off Trumps’s scandals and bring the attention to Clinton and democrat scandals. Trump and his team lost control of the narrative. Which wasn’t meant to happen.

Try to look at the big picture, which is hard because it's so damn big. This is the everything scandal and it hits everyone on every political level. The schizo tipline won't last as long as the "Les Wexner funded republicans and trafficked kids" and "epstein worked heavily with the former israli prime minister and by the way mossad reports to the prime minister". It's already causing other explosions, like former prince Andrew allegedly pimped his own daughter out for money and political favors. THAT came out as a result of this. The British tabloid culture is NOT going to let this go.

Stories do go away because of apathy. Or they are uncomfortable and negative stories people choose to simply block out. And this is about as uncomfortable and negative as it gets.

There is so much fucking clutter and all these version issues. So many PDF files in so many places...its starting to get into the junky clutter zone. Hell, even JMail has like 3-4 versions of each email. And we only have a SMALL percentage of the files.

Happy to help with metadata, file cleanup/consolidation, etc. but, holy fuck, we need an actual definitive archive.

What may seem like clutter and junk data may actually hold nuggets of valuable information; never judge a book by its cover. That said, I agree with you that we certainly need to construct a definitive archive with all originality intact & preserved. It is a collaborative effort for We The People to figure out.

It's been proven that 4 out of the 6 people he named were not involved with Epstein and just apart of a police line up.
If you can't admit your faults when you commit them, and even double down on them then a large majority of people are not going to give a shit what you say when you report on actual information. Case and point 2 of the names had actual ties to Epstein, yet everyone is focusing on the other 4 because they were falsely accused by two sitting congressmen.

Bannon is some fool if he thought the Files were a clever diversion. The Clintons belong to history and Obama remains a fluent communicator. Tools like AI or sheer autism allow rapid filleting of the Files for content. Consequently, Epstein will leave a smell on every one of his causes. One of his pet hates was the late Pope Francis (PF was very pro immigration) whom Bannon discussed with Epstein. Epstein barely engaged with the issue. Obviously too Trump has the Epstein stink right now. Redacting the Files even more (or more blinders like redacting perpetrators and unmasking victims who wanted anonymity) will keep the issue alive and further obliterate his rating with voters. No release or full release and full release is law now. A younger Trump might make Bannon the fall guy. Instead Bannon will be left to do his thing.
