The thing that makes me seriously question the veracity of many second hand claims borne out of the release of documents is as follows:Massie's team also found out the guy who was buying torture videos was Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Emirati chairman of DP World and chairman of Ports, Customs & Freeze Zone Corporation. He was working with Jeffrey Epstein and former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak to produce and catalog child pornography on Epstein's Zorro Ranch in New Mexico.
- It was already known he was the recipient of that email - although his name may have been redacted in some copies of the emails in others it was not.
- It is pretty trivial to find what video he was referring to...
"The public version of the email, dated April 24, 2009, shows Epstein messaging someone, “where are you? Are you ok, I loved the torture video.”
That person responds back, “I am in china I will be in the US 2nd week of May.”
It is unclear what the nature of the “torture video” Epstein refers to is. But given just about everything else we know about him, it’s hard not to imagine that this is exactly what it looks like, if not worse.
The reason to point all this out is that so many of the emails are just discussions and so much of the analysis and research of these emails is extremely poor and basically just throwing out wild conspiracies that are just going to end up devaluing the actual stuff that is in there.
The Epstein Files realistically need some sort of a wiki to organize all of the information and much needed khantext surrounding them. At the present point in time its mostly an extremely disorganized venture and the fact people like Massie and others are making retarded claims that a 3rd grade investigative journalist could better understand is disheartening.
I still say that there is so much khantext missing from the files - it doesn't matter how many emails get released, without showing actually financial transactions and having CCTV or more certainty with the physical world people's imagination is running wild. "torture video" in this specific khantext was something that happened and was widely reported in the news and doesn't pertain to a torture video that either of them (presumably) had anything to do with (besides watching it and commenting on it)
edit: I know epstein is a genuinely evil person and the current thought process of many is "death to journalists" but in the case of a trove of documents like these, this is where real investigative journalism shines. I've seen retards on TikTok and the xitty put together node graphs of relationships between Epstein-related people but its all pretty pointless if people can't even investigate the most basic/obvious stuff as a starting point.
