Whitmer was really bad during Covid and the “kidnapping plot” with her was literal Feds conspiring to entrap people to fake a kidnapping attempt that would make them all look like heroes.
She only won reelection due to a democratic operative fucking over better candidates and forcing the Republicans to run a woman who was a bit too extreme on not killing babies.
She’s better than Harris, but she’s awful. Someone who’d probably lose her state if she ran.

Based on current numbers Democrats may be flipping CA-27 but CO-8 may go red. ME-2 is a big question since the Democrats lead by 700 votes and not even a majority.

No, he's trying to UNcensor the internet (somewhat). He said big platforms will have to meet high standards to qualify for Section 230 protections. He's obviously going to make the high standards a requirement for social media over a certain very large number of users or owned by big corporations. It's for the likes of X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok etc. And it's high standards of neutrality, fairness and non-discrimination in moderating. So no politically biased moderating allowed for example.

I absolutely believe that they knew something was up. The RNC was awkward, like they didn't expect Trump to be there. They were showing his rally live on air for the first time in months/years, if not ever. They had ultra-HD high speed cameras all pointing at his head.
But he lived, and instead of getting to plaster his head exploding across the internet forever to rub the right and working class's noses in it -- "This is what we can do to your greatest leader and there's nothing you can do about it" -- you got him literally showing he has the mandate of heaven AND some of the most iconic shots in American history. Him on the ground bleeding. Him fist pumping. "Fight Fight Fight."
We'll never know if they actually planned it. What we do know is if they did, it backfired more than they could ever expect.

This is what gets me about European smugness. If you ask an American which country they admire most, they’re probably gonna say Japan. If you ask an American which country is our biggest competitor, they’re gonna say China. Europe isn’t on the radar that much.
I don’t hate Europeans, they’re my cousins overseas and I admire certain things about their culture. But my ancestors left Europe in several mass migrations waves in each century from 1600s-1900s when we had to turn off immigration temporarily. That’s a lot of mass migrations from Europe. Has America ever had a mass EMIGRATION event where other countries got flooded with Americans? No. We packed our bags multiple times over 4 centuries and never looked back. Europe is not doing well right now and the only way to reverse that would be to elect their own Trump-style populists.

However, one thing the Daily Mail doesn't say here, is that he did it out of sheer TDS.
Funnily enough, Daily Mail didn't shy away from telling that part, when someone on the other side did it. Even though that's just an excuse for him being a fucking schizo in general, & that MAGA rant is just him kvetching on Facebook like an average boomer.
Even more funnily enough, the author of both articles are the same woman.

Some people jack off to the idea of civil war, and I'm not one of them. But it really would be the final nail in the coffin if Trump won the popular vote, electoral vote, clearly showing that the majority of citizens are sick of the current administration, and they respond by locking up the new guy.
We would cease to have a functional government within the week with the amount of infighting, plus mass violence in the streets.
I often wonder where these talking points that Biden could just have Trump knocked off or sealed away, legally, are coming from. Glowies or true believers?
