Yep. Password managers are just another potential attack vector. I wouldn't touch one with a 50 foot pole, nor would I use the same password on every website.

2FA is a pain in the ass, but minor discomfort is nothing compared to the alternative.

A complete distrust of random people and random downloads from the Internet, along with compartmentalising online IDs to the best of one's ability, is the way to go.

A good quality paid antivirus program and a reputable ad blocker also go a long way to keeping safe online.
They are a major attack vector if they are on a massive public server. If you sling a KeePass database around locally someone would have to try and target access to your actual devices to get it, by which point they might as well steal everything else.
