im kinda worried with the attention on the farms at the moment, if someone at the 3pl recieves a bribe, maybe a small potrion of the keffals grift mone?? the troon squad could have a whole list of our names and addresses??
i still really want to get some patches and support the forum, but im a lil scared pls console me ...

That would be very illegal and very costly thing to do so it's highly unlikely to happen. The realistic bad thing they could do is reee at the 3pl to shut it down, but they wouldn't be able to figure out who to reee at until after orders start shipping. That would pose a challenge to the original idea of opening up sales in batches as inventory comes in but it's pretty clear that it'll have to wait anyway.

Use a private mailbox service if you're that concerned about your shipping info being compromised.

I would suggest looking for a local non-chain pack and ship store. My experience with one was maybe like 6 bucks a month for one year paid upfront. Their business was primarily shipping shit to and from China for college students. I imagine if you sent yourself something to a false name at a PO box or a chain mailbox like the UPS store that those places might care but the Chinese business sure as shit won't. Also PO boxes are super limited in what they allow and are shit so don't even bother.

You do have to give two forms of ID to open it up but I'm pretty sure the second form I gave them wasn't even actually a valid form of ID and they didn't care. That's only going to matter if the cops are coming after you and if the cops are coming after you over some patches we all have a lot more to worry about.

In the past for shirts some people have mentioned general delivery as a possibility but I haven't heard if anyone actually did that. My concern is that you couldn't use a false name for that since they probably require you to show id to pick up the item. It'll probably end up like this

Can you elaborate? I can see how it'd be illegal (I don't know the law but I would hope there's some kind of customer protection thing somewhere), but beyond that...

There are data protection laws in about every country, I can't give dollar amounts or criminal citations because data protection laws are not an area I'm too familiar with beyond knowing they exist. Costly for the person who leaks client info in that they lose their job and may be liable for a criminal act and financial restitution. Costly for the company in that releasing client info for a purpose it was not collected for is a black mark against the reputation of the company. Handling customer data is basically half their job and probably the most important part. The last 3pl was incompetent but not criminal (at least not obviously criminal).

Take a look at Google maps and search for mailbox services. Or whatever yellowpages equivalent you prefer for a packing and shipping business. If you really want a Chinese one, focus on areas around colleges, especially if your local college has a lot of Chinese students. Google streetview is your friend, literally all Chinese businesses look the same whether they're shipping all the 3M masks out of your country or selling mystery meat covered in salt and sugar. If the majority of the signs on the business are in a foreign language then you're good.

I got a PMB because I was in a living situation without a valid address. I was using it as a legitimate substitute for a mailing address, the business just happened to be Chinese and cheap. So besides getting shirts I was able to get my mail without it getting lost and my packages were delivered to a place where both I can find them and where they wouldn't get stolen. Amazon deliveries were no problem too.

I really like your idea, and a cow can represent all the lolcows here. It can be tricky doing one on specific people. We should proceed with caution with those designs. Null has enough legal issues as it is lol. I changed the moniker, but I really love yours. I think that should be attached to the dog icon, since Null really is the shepherd of the flock here.
