"Happenings" box has little to no line spacing in-between individual topics - when viewed on a smaller (desktop) window, this makes individual topics rather difficult to distinguish (looks like one long message). Hope that isn't considered too minor.

Nothing else to complain about really, got used to the 2021 dark theme within minutes. Great work.

Having forum navigation be above and smaller than the random.txt is an interesting choice

Tags are at the top of threads which nobody even realizes are a thing.
And each page still says "add ons by themehouse" at the bottom.
And somehow you broke reactions received. Clicking on a post brings one to the first post of that thread, instead of the reacted to post.

The new theme does some crazy shit with the text and images when you start scrolling on mobile (Android + Brave), like the kind of visual distortion you get from looking off in the distance when it's hot outside. The effect isn't consistent between different threads or even pages: on some it's mild and almost tolerable, but on others it's like jamming a thousand needles into my eyes. Here's a recording of me scrolling on three different pages of this thread so you can see what I'm talking about:

Beyond that, I have several comments regarding the readability and usability of the new theme compared to the old one. Some may seem like nitpicks but I think all of them have a tangible impact on the site's user experience. I disagree (because ratings are retarded and not a good indicator of a post's quality) but even if they were you could have that functionality while removing the hideous green borders that draw attention away from the content of the post.

These things you're bitching about - they're customizations I made to the old theme. That's why you're used to them. I am importing my own fucking changes from Theme A to Theme B. Fucking Christ. I spent years tweaking the old theme. Neither theme out of the box is what you're accustomed to, that's my fucking work.

Might be a font kerning or hinting issue, but it might be a Blink rendering engine issue that might be localized to mobile browsers. Looks fine on Firefox desktop and Android and Safari on iOS so Gecko and WebKit are probably fine, but Chrome and Brave both use Blink. There's font kerning values for CSS and some black magic for font hinting, but if it's localized to a rendering engine it might just be fucked until the underlying rendering issue is fixed. I somehow doubt Null has mobile at the top of his priority list anyway.

No, the feature to choose a font size was a part of ThemeHouse and will not be present in this style.

I've been using small text the entire time and the new theme's text size feels so massive it's like I'm reading a large print book.
I recognize that for now, we small-font users are just going to need to suck it up and deal with it, but is there any possibility of font sizes returning in the future?

Other than that the site is looking pretty slick! Definitely not the worst update it's gone through.

This theme looks pretty good. I still hold that allowing people to choose their own color to replace the green, instead of having a set of themes with specific color schemes would be neat, but it's not like it matters that much.

The difference between read and unread watched threads is much too subtle. That tiny dot is far too easy to miss, especially compared to the older themes:

Also, images no longer are restricted to thumbnails-only. I feel making thumbnails the default but with the choice of thumbnails or full-sized images would be best of both worlds, but I'm not sure if this revision was intentional. I've gotten used to it being thumbnails-only, which I'd personally prefer over large images taking up the entire screen like this:

I can't fathom how easily distracted you are if a monocolor, three-pixel-tall band across the tops of posts draws your attention away.

New theme looks good. The only nitpick I have is that a combination of font size/line spacing on the sans-serif fonts makes everything feel cramped together and hard to read. It mostly affects the sidebar on the front page. (No one reads the members online box, sure, but it also affects the column showing the newest thread posted in/who made the post)
