What makes me curious is why so many people think Biden is a good candidate if that poll is anything to go by. I can only name ONE person I know of who is genuinely enthusiastic about Biden, and that's my TDS-afflicted grandfather.

I've asked and the universal answer is some variant "I don't care about Biden, he might be an idiot but they're both idiots, but I hate Trump and won't vote for him."

so i thought (naively) that the dems putting a "safe" white guy as their party front runner would quench their need to ruin chances with needless diversity, but the push for a black woman vp, and Harris in particular, is stronger than i thought. with them looking at demos who want that https://www.politico.com/news/2020/07/23/biden-black-women-veep-379460 , if he picks Harris or anyone like her (controversy or idiocy wise not skin color lol) then his candidacy is just dead

the real answer is just that the media told them trump is bad because he offers nominal opposition to positions they want entrenched for various self serving reasons and its " fun" to cancel people for being "racist" and it feels good to stand for something against an invented nazi dictator when there is little actual consequence or risk, that or theyre just one of the inevitable backlash voters that come whenever a president fails to improve the country within their term in a way more easily tied to himself or something like corona happens

I am one. I have seen like 5 gang up on one lefty during band.

I went to college and had multiple kids say they wanted to be more Republican after the usual left-wing indoctrination presentation.

Tik Tok is filled with racist jokes and jokes against women, and my younger brother follows multiple young conservatives and agrees with them.

There was an article saying that Gen Z is the most Republican in years, I think even surpassing Boomers, that came out in 2016.

My high school voted Donald in the student election.

We grew up on anti-SJW YouTube. I was in middle school during the Anita-Gamergate years.

Safe to say, Gen Z grew up on Republican ideologies. We had to live in a post-9/11 world with a housing crisis, that alerted us to save money. There are super woke snowflakes, I will admit, but a majority seems based and respelled given the time period and circumstances we grew up in.
I know it's all anecdotes and all, but I'm curious if you've seen this in the girls too, or just the boys. With idpol rhetroic being pushed nonstop, it wouldn't surprise me if the political gender gap continued to widen.

Usually white women and men are majority Republican. Its just that the loud mouth cunts are usually on the Democrat side. Its the minority women that are majority democrat like sheboons.

Good question, so here are my accounts.

From what I have seen, many just do not talk politics, which makes it harder to determine.

I remember seeing two high liberals, both were female. One was also a pretty big Christian.
I have spoken to many girls on the nerd-er side, which would like,y be the target for politics in my generation and most seem kinda in the middle. There are hints of SJW, but at the same time they seem to be aware of the reputation and try to avoid verging too far. I like to think of as a walking on thin ice, they never want it too shatter and become too crazy.

I have also met some that are high republican.

As for boys, you got neutral, or republican primarily. At worst it is classical liberal or Bernie (aka closet Trump).

Going through high school, hating on SJWs was pretty common in the nerd/band type groups. The popular seemed to have no interest in politics. College seems the same. Even my workplace is all Trump when talking politics, besides one Democrat who hates Biden. I also have a friend out of state that is apparently watching Alex Jones and would watch tons of Shapiro before dropping him. That friend is female and made it into Westpoint this year.

As for my two younger sibling, they are both anti-Trump because Gen X parents are. My brother follows conservatives though and agrees with them a lot, so he is probably weighing. My sister‘s experience with politics is having her friends try to pressure her into posting a #BLM thing on Tik Tok or Instagram or whatever. She said no because she knows she is not racist.

In writing this, yeah there seems to be a gender gap. It is likely due to basic white girls trying to gain points on social media, which is why so much of George Floyd cringe comes from them. They want to seem non-offensive, so they give into SJW stuff. The good part is, it seems more like per pressure over actually believing it, and many are self-aware enough.

True, but there is still a significant difference even between white women and white men, and it's something I want to keep an eye on both to get an idea of whether the dems are able to push it further, and also for the impact it may have on the rapid erosion of gender relations. I've been shocked at how gender difference in politics in my cohort has changed from not that significant in high school to rabid lockstep for the women vs still some variation in the men, and I don't know how much of that is getting older vs a longer term trend.

White married women are definitely on the right of center. If you waved a magic wand and young single women weren't allowed to vote, the Dems would never win anything.
That implies white single democrat women vote and are not just looking for Tik Tok and Twitter clout by being obnoxious.

According to April Gallup polling, political party affiliation is 31% Dem and 30% GOP. Additionally, in the last Fox News poll, while nonwhites have an overall lower opinion of Trump, there’s a surprisingly large “strongly unfavorable” that correlates with college educated white women over 65. It seems to be the “woman” part that correlates the most- Trump has a sort of swagger that I imagine doesn’t bother men but apparently annoys some women.

OTOH, my twitter is full of full-on MAGA “Text Trump to #” older white women conservatives, so maybe polls are just lame and gay.

I learned my lesson from 2016 to not trust polls.

Probably reminds them of their conservative masculine fathers or the kind of men that would cum and dump them I guess?

Basically he is seen as some alpha male that they hate.

These debates are not fucking happening. Not without Biden's handlers demanding massive changes to the normal proceedings. All digital, not live, Biden's team get final cut approval, Trump is on a strict time limit, Biden can take as long as he wants, etc etc. I don't think its about rigging the debates any more. Its just about making Biden look neurotypical.
An invisible campaign with an invisible nominee...
Clearly the DNC never heard of Thomas Dewey.
Either Joe comes to play and dementia shenanigans ensue or his handles shove him into a Delaware basement and bank on the forlorn hope that a divided and unenthusiastic base can somehow win the election on the strength of sheer turnout.
Fat chance of that happening IMO.
That's not even mentioning that the Biden ground game/GOTV and organization is a joke compared to what Trump has.

I think I'll worry if Dementia Joe is still polling well ahead by Labor Day/when he's announced his running mate. I mean, I would just find it hard to believe if voters opt for a more leftist government after the sheer lunacy of this year and the Democratic Party, but whatever.

Most voters live in lala land and want gibs thanks to idpol.

I think Biden will pick Tammy Duckworth as VP. She’s a woman, half-Asian, a veteran, and from the Midwest. Or some random black Congresswoman you don’t hear about much, like Frederica Wilson.

If the Republicans don’t pass another stimulus check or more unemployment benefits their election chances go way down. It isn’t only the urban underclass who wants gibs and you live in some bizarre alternate universe where all Republicans are still genteel Connecticut Yankees if you think it is.

Either way the Republicans NEED to fucking hammer it through that people are unemployed/suffering because of the lockdown.
The virus didn't shut their business down and burn through their savings, their democrat (and some RINO) governors did.
They also need to put a fucking price tag on the CoronaGibs, and make people realize how much money they will need to pay in the future for money now.

You’re right, but look, if people are starving and getting evicted because Republican congressmen took a principled stand on small government, they won’t care who started it.

Also, most voters aren’t mad at the concept of gibs, they’re mad that other people are getting them. Any time I see a discussion of Medicaid I always see someone saying ‘I make 45k a year and I don’t get any help, why do these unemployed people get healthcare?’ If Medicaid got expanded to include people up to those who made, say, 65k a year, those people would all take it.

There's a pretty big gap between basic affiliation and who actually comes out to vote. Democrats always fall into the trap of "well there are x% more registered dems, so we can oversample them as likely voters in our polls." But that almost never comes to fruition, except when they have a candidate like Obama. The truth is, lack of enthusiasm will lower the percentage of registered dems who come out to vote, especially among the politically exiled/youth/farther left crowd (e.g. young people, really). If you take into account signs that classic dem voters might not turn up as much (youth being brushed aside/Bernie's campaign subverted, far left either trying to destroy the system or not entranced with a Biden candidacy, Latinos shifting more towards Trump/not coming out to vote) then it becomes a much closer race, even with the shift of older typically republican women towards Biden.

This is why the debates are so crucial to Trump. If he can drag down the (non-)image Biden has in his base's/independents' minds, then a lot of his assumed support could dry up. But I guess we'll see. Who knows what will happen with BLM trends, rioting, violence, the Oxford chad vaccine, etc.

Unaffiliated voters make up an increasingly large share of the electorate. Also the shifts of working class Rust Belt whites voting for Trump but still being a registered Democrat.

Democrats shouldn’t take Latinos for granted. And Republicans shouldn’t take working class whites for granted, especially downballot.
