It's called syncretism and Shinto is pretty open to that. Generally it involves deciding you're also Catholic or Muslim or w/e and then never figuring out what the fuck you're supposed to be doing and continuing to practice Shintoism but with your new faith's windowdressing draped all over it. If you've ever seen the Japanese attempt to celebrate Christmas you'd have a good idea of what I'm talking about.

THIS IS AN ONGOING CRUCIAL DANGER SITUATION

Earlier today a guy called Jotex257 found and spammed his thread. When people pointed out that he was a Muslim and not Catholic (which he claims to be, apparently residing in the very catholic Philippines), he started to freak the fuck out. Then, when his name was correctly changed to @Islamic Gamer he began an unholy (and very Islamic) attack on the Kiwi Farms by reporting posts and sending spam.
