Someone has sent Chris a threatening message about releasing Best Buy's security footage of him shoplifting. The majority of this message is a direct quote from the "reliable source".

I know this was posted in the discussion but this is the official statement made by our PR team on 888chan.

As the head of /cow/. We can't confirm or deny that there is a video of a fat autistic man with luscious bleached blonde locks servicing a best buy employee for the Lego movie. We do have our suspicions though since chris has suffered a financial loss and still has enough money for Lego products. It's strange how the sexier white trash members of society can barely get by; yet have so much material wealth considering their situation. Our theory is that carlos chantor has gone full tomgirl as carlie chantor with a farrah fawcett inspired hairdo. This is all speculation but Chris is a true wildcard.

According to the comment by Kim, she saw the whole thing, and yeah, he was caught stealing. The odds of Kim just happening to be there are kinda low, but Chris hasn't denied it so.... yup, Chris was stealing. Not really surprising considering he'll lie straight to his parents' faces and steal from them.

Well, and Kim is a Charlottesville local, that Chris knows IRL. He knows she can recognize him out in the field. I can't imagine someone who knows Chris IRL would bother claiming something they didn't actually see to Chris' face.

Yeah, it's not like C-ville is that big of a town. It's perfectly reasonable that any local field agents might run into him on a semi-frequent basis. Which does happen, since sometimes people take photos of him at McDonalds and wherever.

I don't know why Chris would want to steal from Best Buy, as the one near me always has an employee near the doors watching the entire store with cameras, and you can't walk through the store without a bunch of employees asking if you want assistance.

The tugboat could be double what he currently gets and it still wouldn't be enough to sate his desire for expensive material possessions. He wants it, therefore he's entitled to it, and because the trolls prevented Sonichu from being the multi million dollar franchise it's worthy of being he's forced into the position of having to steal that which he's entitled to.

It happened. Marvin is a great source and Kim (someone who's friends with Chris IRL) confirmed it.
