In the new KFC ad, Colonel Sanders was played by 'famous country singer Reba MacEntire' (Me either) and apparently people are going nuts about it.
All I know is I'm more freaked out about that woman at 0:31 with the really big mouth.

Kentucky Fried Rats is pretty sketchy and as fast food goes, really unreliable. I've lived places where the KFC was actually pretty good, and places it was invariably horrible.
The stereotype is true, though. If you are the only white guy in line, you are probably at the best fried chicken place in town. Why the fuck is it always run by a Paki?

That's fair. I mean I'd rather have a Barburrito or fuckin' Changos for my Mexican food fix, but Taco Bell is fine when I don't want to navigate through Spice fiends or trek all the way down to Oxford Road.

Taco Bell was originally texmex, not Mexican food. Related but slightly different cuisine.
Though nowadays, it's pretty much just stoner food. And it's pretty good at that. If you have reasonable expectations, you'll never be disappointed.

Bojangles is a regional chain. KFC is international. I do like hitting bojangles when I'm in NC.
I mean it's like going to Boone, NC and hitting a backyard burgers.

I stopped eating it years ago because a piece of chicken from there has enough MSG in it to kill a Chinese child, but assuming it hasn't changed, I very much like it. A bucket of extra crispy with those pudding-textured mashed potatoes was heaven.
