There are plenty of black anime characters, they are just not as well-know/liked as the Japanese or white ones or these people just always forget...

So in anime, if she's not squinty-eyed and buck-tooth she's not Japanese? I wonder how hard they've fucked up Kimetsu no Yaiba with this bullshit...
