An India with nuclear weapons is only a danger to itself. no fucking way that thing launches without blowing up in the attempt and flash frying a chunk of the subcontinent.

Can you imagine the smell of India on fire? A literal trash fire but on a global scale.

He might not be able to because he is in transit or a hiding hole like Saddam was and him doing anything would be an opsec failure.

Think about it, how many police chases and so on, the criminal could've just hidden under a house and the police would fuck off eventually. There's even a recent movie where that is basically the plot: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roofman (its an alright movie)

Other than that, timing it in an unexpected fashion might be a serious win for Iran. The same as how people speculated and claimed as 100% fact that Kim Jong Un killed his uncle using an anti aircraft gun and he popped up in public a few months later - it made everyone look stupid.

Supposedly Iran has serious amounts of missiles and rockets and drones so they could have planned anything and I'm certain there is a high likelihood of hijinks - or its all been smoke and mirrors and there is nothing left of the Iranian government and military empire and they shot their load already.
