I cannot for the life of me read anything from Linkara without hearing the Oneyplays Linkara impression in my head. It's superseded his own actual voice.

I love seeing bitter jealousy over losers who tried to bring down Doug over petty reasons get mad that he's more relevant than them.

I really liked his perspective on this one. Especially interesting was his commentary on how you sometimes need creative solutions to convince someone to do things a certain way. How movies are collaborations with different people who have conflicting ideas on what to do. And that even if it might not feel "right" to have to work harder/creatively to convince someone of your idea, it will still pay off in the end to do so.
To be honest it's probably advice his old colleagues should take. Feeling entitled to not have to work as hard doesn't translate to real world success, even if you're convinced of your own talent. Even if the Youtube algorithm/copyright is unfairly fucking you, if you're in the medium you have to come up with some creative solutions to keep making content and getting paid somehow. Random example being the initial reason for the clipless reviews. Knowing his Jurassic Park reviews always get demonitized regardless of his opinion on the film, Doug decided to make it impossible to take down even while completely shitting all over the movie. Some reviews I've watched stick with trailer content exclusively. Meanwhile most former CA creators just cry on social media while shilling patreon and shitting on Doug for whatever reason.

Also I didn't know this movie existed, A Goofy Movie was one of my favourites as a kid so it would be interesting to watch the documentary on the creation. It seems like production was a crazy time.

Seriously though, from what little we've seen of Doug's politics he doesn't like Trump at all but since he didn't make this his whole personality it obviously means he's complicit.
 
Every celeb that's come out against the DHS' based Americana vids going "erm I did not consent for my image/song to be in this video!!!" comes across as such a nerd and blowhard so I really hope Doug continues ignoring social media and says nothing.

Alternatively him screaming and then saying BUILD THAT WALL exactly as Zach said it would be hilarious
