So Robyn gave Atlas her terrible cold; she's planning to drag her sick child to the bedside of an elderly and medically fragile woman the second she gets out of surgery, and she looped a video of Luna beginning to seizure to make it look like she smiled at Robyn this morning.

She knows how much Grandma disapproves of what she’s done to Luna—so of course she’ll be bringing her along. People like Robyn love love LOVE pissing people off when they can’t do anything about it. It’s a rush for them.

This is exactly why she doesn't go to real medical providers if she can at all avoid it. Anyone with any degree in medicine and a license to practice looks at the data, looks at the symptoms, the x-rays, the scans and draws their conclusions based on those and their knowledge/schooling. Robyn can say "Luna says...Luna feels...I'm empathetic" all she wants, but that's going in one ear and out the other with real doctors. They're going to look at Luna's medical history (though I'm sure it's not accurate, or even complete), look at Luna's physical condition, her reactions to stimuli, her x-rays and scans and form their diagnosis/treatment plans based off of that. And that just doesn't jive with the narrative Robyn is trying to spin.

The sad thing is it will be Luna who suffers the most. Whether she's conscious or can feel pain or is even remotely aware of her own existence, Luna suffers.

I wonder about the people who do agree to treat Luna...I know doctors and nurses take an oath to 'do no harm' and I suppose they aren't REALLY doing any harm to Luna, but if it were me, I don't know if I could do anything to that child without worrying I'm causing her pain or discomfort. Of course there are instances when you have to cause pain to someone in order to treat them and make them well, but there is no getting better for Luna. I don't even know if she can be made any more comfortable that she already is...

Great, now I made myself sad. :(

This is correct and why a) flies are used to demonstrate mutations in genetics classes (including a gene mutation that makes them bisexual) and b) why the punnet square isnt a great teaching tool

Boy Glenn really hates any information bursting his rainbow bubble. This is the second time he’s complained about the torture of hearing news broadcasts.

While I can accept some news channels are fearmongering noise and grist mill nonsense I don’t think Glenn has any ability to differentiate. No difference to him between NPR or Fox News or the BBC. He reminds me of the teenagers who gagged and moaned at the mention of “books”…any book. Any news program is bad to Glenn because Glenn has the intellectual curiosity of a slug, which is typical for a low IQ narcissist. I’m not sure if Glenn is a narcissist, maybe just vain, but he definitely is dumb as dog shit. It’s no wonder he and Robyn hooked up.

Edit: I sort of wonder if he was always like this or the stone cold, everyday reality of Luna’s giant fluid filled head was such a “bummer” he decided to bury his head in “rainbow vibes only” sand and works very hard to keep it there.

I'm sure he hates his job. KB homes is like a step above trailer parks. It's a high pressure "new home" sales company that builds crappy ass, cheap new homes for people struggling to afford homes in higher price markets - with of course incentives if you use the KB perferred financing. It specializes in "first time home buyers" - i.e. younger people who don't know shit about buying a home, tend to be desperate and can easily be tricked and taken advantage of.

In the reviews of KB Homes one of the ongoing complaints (of many) is that the entire staff flips every 3-6 months because it's a shitty place to work - from construction to sales to loans.

I've actually wondered if Globin live in a KB special because it has the look and feel of KB quality and style from what everything I've seen in it. They would be the ideal "KB home first time buyer" too, dumb, desperate, only need $1k deposit and the monthly check they get for Luna probably put them within the income bracket for KB's special financing deals. They are the type of company that would have offered Glenn a job when they went in to buy a house too to help them make the loan requirements.

Even if there were a point to putting eyeglasses on a baby who is cortically blind, those particular frames don't fit and are useless. They make that poor kid look ridiculous.

I might need to step away until this thread gets its "inactive" tag.

It was an all-inclusive resort in Cancun called "Beach Place" states they did their wedding and honeymoon there.

It actually isn't too uncommon to do that to blind infants, even if you can't see, they can be damaged similarly to a sunburn.
