Speaking of the home birth. That was the woman who I believed said “she wouldn’t name names” on who was responsible for Luna’s brain trauma when asked about it. I wonder what Robin is telling people behind the scenes now? Is she now blaming it all on the doula she found on IG?

I know we’d like to think “the name” was Robin but there is less than zero chance Robin would ever take responsibility or let any of her online friends think it could be her. I’m now convinced she has “the real story” she privately tells them and it’s all the doula’s fault who totally lied to Robin about her expertise.
 
All the saccharin sweet faces for instagram compared to the screenshots from the live show a completely different person. Robyn doesn't appear happy at all. She looks bitter af.
 
It may say "Grass Fed" on the box, but the only way to ensure quality nutrition is to take on the production yourself. Wouldn't it be enjoyable to watch Farmer Robyns' blogs? Milking Chakra the goat whilst balancing Buna on the stanchion and nearly drops her hand woven sun hat when she realizes she left the non stagnant Atlas in the bean patch! He could have crawled into the boneless pig barn by now! (An interesting choice of animal husbandry, most likely reminded her of Luna, you also have to roll them in their pen to avoid bed sores.)

Robin is the ultimate corporate slut that just buys into the cheap marketing lies. She looks for pretty packaging and key words that emotionally resonant with her.

What always gets me about woo organic Robin is how absolutely plastic everything in her life and home is. In that last live stream Luna is laying with about four layers of polyester. Polyester pillow, fake furry polyester throw, polyester clothing, etc..

She’s the stereotype of the dumb bitch that will pay more for the same product if it uses words that give her a false sense of superiority. It’s all about the marketing or packaging making her feel “positive vibes” about buying a consumer product. Who cares if that $6 dress was made by child sweat shop labor in Bangladesh!?! Who cares if the “grass fed butter” is made from cows’ milk filled with rBGH and antibiotics, they ate all natural grass!

I have plenty to say on this pet peeve.
This really sticks out to me because last week I went with a friend who was buying some skeins of wool yarn at a farm. She buys from a older lady who raises lambs and does every part of the production except for the thread spinning (she used to do that too till a local mill opened). The farm owner puts in the hard work to live a truly natural way of life. A way of life corporations decided to use as a marketing tactic to upsell their commercial crap to ppl like Robin.

Her home was lovely, filled with hand loomed rugs, blankets, knitted clothing, etc… and it takes an incredible amount of work and dedication. Outside of a few things in the kitchen I don’t think there was anything plastic in the entire home, including no AC (just high ceilings, open windows and fans)

I write all this because there is such a vast difference between the legitimate “organic, authentic, all natural” whatever you want to call it lifestyle and the shiny mass manufactured corporate garbage that they market and package using those same words to sell to idiots like Robin. It’s just absurd watching Robin in her hermetically sealed, 70 degree air conditioned, condo in the middle of the Nevada desert that’s filled with polyester carpet, polyester sofas, rugs, blankets, Wish.com clothing and making a meal out of Wal-mart factory produced pasta and canned tuna while watching Real Housewives and trumpeting buying “grass fed!!” butter on IG. The butter makes her feel like an all organic woo queen, never mind everything else about how she lives her life. The grass fed butter makes all difference. She’s not like those unenlightened hags in the condo next door that buy Land O Lakes!

Robin doesn’t need to put in any effort. Corporations will sell her that feeling of organic superiority for a mere $4 more via their BS marketing on butter packaging. Paying $4 more for butter that uses the buzzwords she covets and that makes her feel on par with ppl who hand churn their own butter. Actually she probably feels even better because she figures those farm people hand churning their own butter probably gave their cows feed pellets.

Gwen Hartley showed far more authentic dedication to her organic ideals than this “empathetic nutritionist”. Hell Gwen bought her own damn goats for milk. OTOH had thank god you can’t buy raw milk in Nevada because I’m sure Robin would have killed both kids with it by now if they did.

Yuropoor farmer here, maybe it's different in the 'Murrika, but you're actually very unlikely to get antibiotics in your milk. Meat? Possibly, but in milk they actually vigorously check if there's any trace of antibiotics, because if there's antibiotics in the milk, the factory can't make any fermented produce from it (i.e sour cream, cheese, kefir ect), as the antibiotics don't allow the fermentation to occur because it kills off the necessary bacteria. What's more, if they catch antibiotics in a milk truck, the whole batch goes down the drain. Whenever you use any veterinary product that has antibiotics in it, they always put a number of days during which you're not allowed to sell the milk.

It is illegal in the United States to sell milk or meat containing antibiotics. I won't powerlevel too hard, but in a previous job, I analyzed raw milk directly from the producer, and a positive test for traces of antibiotics was reason to reject and destroy an entire tanker truck of milk.
 
First off, I think it's fascinating that Atlas has blue eyes when everyone else has brown eyes. I understand that recessive genes can result in a blue-eyed baby from two brown-eyed parents (25% iirc?) but it's still... interesting.

Also I went down an anti-homebirthing rabbit hole and found this article that reminded me of Robyn; apologies if it's been posted before and I missed it.

His eyes might not be blue in a few months. Eye color isn’t set until babies are a year old, at least for white babies. I’ve known several kids that had eyes like Atlas at six months, but were brown, green or hazel by their 1st birthday. Sometimes they stay blue, sometimes they don’t.

But aren’t Robin’s eyes light? Green or hazel? Glenn obviously has brown, but I don’t think Robin does.

I have a sibling with bright blue eyes, but my parents had brown and hazel/light brown eyes. Then another sibling with blue eyes as an infant, until they turned light brown right around their first birthday.

Oh I know, I just still find eye colors fascinating. If his eyes do change they'll probably end up the weird hazel that Luna and Robyn have.

I'm blue eyed and both of my parents have blue eyes, but I got my mom's blue-grey ones with central heterochromia. My BFF has blue eyes from a blue-eyed and green-eyed parent (and all siblings have green eyes). A cousin has blue eyes but their sibling has brown eyes, from a blue-eyed and brown-eyed parent. And I guess I think it's interesting because when I was a kid I remember hearing that brown eyes were dominant and it was exceedingly rare for blue eyes to overcome brown-eyed genes - but our understanding of genetics has improved so much since then. AAAAAAANNNYway.

The blue eye gene is double recessive. As long as both parents have the blue eyes gene, there's a chance one of their kids might have blue eyes. Doesn't matter if both parents have brown eyes as long as they both have the gene.

If one parent has blue eyes and the other has brown eyes and no blue eyed gene, there is a 0% chance of any child between them having blue eyes. But their grandchildren could have blue eyes if their kids partner with blue eyes people, or with brown eyed people who possess the gene.
 
Yeah, sometimes Half-White/Half-Mexican kids turn out surprisingly colorful, especially if their Mexican half was more castizo/criollo. Glen's dad has a rather unusual build and I kinda wondered if he himself was mixed, he looks to be in the age range of having a possible European immigrant parent/grandparent from WW2.

Not something you should expect from a specialist for your 🌈🕺🏼 terminally ill🕺🏼🌈child.

Would Robin be distressed if Atlas' eyes change colour? Would she think it warrants medical intervention? Would she think it signals the quickening of his psychic powers?

Or would she even notice at all?

She doesn't even go to well baby check ups, why does she even care? She has a 2 year old potato that doesn't do anything. And she doesn't even bring Atlas to well baby checkups and I doubt she will in the future.

I found the yes/no questions fine for starting a dialogue on behaviour, but my non-potato 2 year old was not into being at the dr office and made it well known and we had to do this evaluation quickly.
 
Ah yes, that family might have covid but definitely a cold, so let's go to the hospital to see deathly ill grandma. But wait, Robyn gets off on everything being about her, so bet luna will be there.
Funny how atlas is also not feeling well, interesting timing.
