Petting this cat for almost 2 minutes, just to see if he can attract the cat-loving retard that drops money.

One thing that I can give Phil is that he's containment for dentheads and other mentally impaired people.
"Containment" would imply that they are secured in an environment where they aren't putting themselves at risk.

Edging themselves towards financial ruin via cRoWdFuNdInG P.P's career is pure, unadulterated self-destruction.

DSP (main character that resembles those weird hand-drawn Japanophile-action-samurai pre-stream cards), a cat, a horse...

Art really does imitate life.

I never said that it was a safe form of containment.

It really pisses me off when he begs RIGHT after someone dropped a bigger ammount of money on it. So ungrateful.

Imagine you donate some money to someone in need and right as he pockets the money, starts to guilt trip people around him for not giving him enough...

Mate that's a solid point.

Honestly, just to add to my previous point. Katherine didn't even buy Animal Crossing, a game she bloody loved, and totally fucked over Phil's streams due to her playing the game. I even remember it being a big point during his bankruptcy that Phil and Katherine use gameshare so he shouldn't be able to claim his games are for his business.
So why all of a sudden is she buying games for him, when she was too cheap to buy games or even add to the household when Phil was half a million dollars in debt?
Blows my mind because she is either utterly exceptional, or Phil is playing some weird angle.
My first thought was him trying to hide his spending expenses so Midfirst has less to show for evidence that Phil is lying about his income and why he can't pay his bills. It would make sense in a really broad argument, but I honestly think it's just Phil being so absolutely fucking dumb that he thinks he's outsmarting people. He can't cry poor and get pity money if he's spending thousands of dollars on useless knick-knacks. This is, of course, on the assumption that Phil is panicking over the looming Midfirst business, and that's why he's trying to push his begathons a lot more now.

He’s playing new content for the game though, which from what I’m understanding is the ps5 version only.

i just woke up because i got 4 hours of sleep so i don't know if anyone corrected you but no, DLC is for PS4 as well. i'm playing it rn.

edit: someone corrected you literally one post down. this is why i shouldn't ever sleep.

Regarding the Ghost of Tsushima upgrade debacle:

If you own the game physically or digitally in your account, you have the option to:

- Upgrade to the Director’s Cut (PS4) for 19.99 USD/EUR;
- Upgrade Director’s Cut (PS4) to native PS5 for extra 9.99 USD/EUR.

Or

- Upgrade base game straight away to Director’s Cut (PS5) for 29.99 USD/EUR. This was only possible since launch day (today), unlike the previous possibilities.

Obviously, considering that the digital version is owned by Kat, the simpler thing to do is to buy the upgrade using Kat’s account. To make things even worse, Phil tried to do the upgrade yesterday when the option to do it straight away to the PS5 version wasn’t even available, an embarrassment he could’ve avoided if he did 2 minutes of research.

Tl;dr: Phil is a fucking idiot who’s too lazy to even do a 2-min Google search.

*Tune into the stream*
*Phil's just watching cutscenes while occasionally goat-laughing to fill the dead-air*
*Serious plot details are being revealed and he can't be assed to take it seriously for a second*
*Close stream*
Phil used to be "so bad he's fun to watch" but now he actively makes every game he plays worse.
It would make him a lot more money if he went back to that but it just hurt his ego too much. Even when he tried to monetize TIHYD his ego refused to let him call is that so he had to go with "Best and Worst".

Mate I think something weird is going on Behind the scenes™ aswell.
I don't believe for a second that Katherine, the bird that's too lazy to work full time while her beloved husband is struggling to pay the bills and put food on the table, is buying games for his failing business. There is this trend lately where he claims he is just getting everything he wants and needs.
I'm not sure what he's doing or why, but maybe someone that understands US business better can take a guess.
That's not new for him though.
Remember when he claimed his parents bought him thanksgiving dinner?
He was crying poor so hard, that he allegedly didn't have money for a turkey, so his mom paid for his.
