Childhood TV Shows That You Barely Remember

I only remember the episode of them battling mutated sewer rats. I especially liked the doctor who spoke like he was in an action movie.
 
There was this show, Nick I think, with goth girl raised by bugs and it was the most surreal thing ever. Honestly it felt like it could have been a way better idea than what we got, the educational shit kind of killed it.

There also this show in Adult Swim, 2D, and about these two buddy cops, one a fat guy and the other a weak thin guy. It had this 80's buddy cop movie parody from it. Their names were the titles...remember enjoying it for what it was. Only lasted a season and it ended in a cliffhanger apparently

That first show was Growing Up Creepie, which actually ran on Discovery Kids, not Nickelodeon. Hence the whole educational aspect, which was DK's bread and butter I know because I used to watch it around 2007-2008. No wonder the network got replace with the Hub. Which got replaced with Discovery Family. Go fig.

Not sure about the AS show, though. The closest I can think of was Assie McGee, which doesn't quite fit your description - as in, the dynamic you described doesn't mention a literal talking ass.

The AS show was Stroker & Hoop. Pretty good Starsky & Hutch type show that was supposed to get renewed but at the last minute didn't, so it only lasted one season and just ends on a cliffhanger.

Ah yes, its all coming back to me now. It all felt like this concept could have been better used in some other type of story, something Tim Burton would make, kind like Edward Scissorhands but gender reversed...I mean, it is an insane concept so embrace it and make it a surreal but touching plot kind like Edward Scissorhands. The funny thing too is that Creepie was "goth" when the real reason she was pale as fuck was either born that way (I rewatched the intro and she seemed to be unnaturally white as a baby...maybe the parents were ashamed of having an extremely white kid in modern society and dumped her) or/and because she was pretty much raised in hard isolation.

This was the opening to those that are interested (I also saw that the whole series seems to be available on youtube, that too)

Fuck, that show was legit more funny any anything on current Adult Swim...Legit, early A.S was far more experimental and while not everything paid off, the stuff that did worked really well...pity it never got any new seasons, kind of hoping some other network would pick it up but that is very unlikely

 
a few weeks ago i was looking through a list of streaming shows and saw this, and realized I had completely forgotten about it:

Somehow I totally forgot all about that show, but not various elements like how the buff naked guy says "Ouchies!", and that's been kicking around in my head forever and it was really a relief to finally remember where that came from, that had been bugging me for years. Like I even wondered if it was some mutation of "oh jeez" that I came up with as a kid

It was a pretty good show when I was little. Other than "Ouchies!", I don't remember a single thing about it.

One of my favorite lines came from an episode where they fought against a literal bass trophy.

"With time running out, the Action League makes the kind of rescue they're famous for."
(the group mindlessly plows through innocent swimmers)
"A really stupid one."

Also, the idea of a character whose main gimmick is that he's naked seems pretty outrageous for a kids' show in hindsight.

The thing I remember most about that show was the villain..."His dishonor, THE MAYOR"

The way the narrator always introduced him made my kid brain chuckle.
 
You know, it's weird, I used to watch Fairly Odd Parents all the time when I was a kid, even rewatched a good portion of the series when I got to high school-ish out of nostalgia, but I can barely name five episodes off the top of my head. I remember the premise of the show very well but I guess the content of it was otherwise so forgettable.
 
There was this short-lived 3DCG scifi comedy. I think it was called "Tripping The Rift".

I think I only saw some of one episode, which was about atheism.

IIRC, Rupert is more of a thing in Britain and was based on a series of older children's books that were well-known over there but it never really caught on in America aside from the 90's cartoon on Nickelodeon. I don't remember all that much about the show aside from an episode where they went to some toy land.

I remember a bit more of Little Bear and overall liking the show way back when I was a kid.

IIRC, it did stick around past the 90's and hung around a bit into the early 2000's, even airing on CBS for a while as part of their short-lived "Nickelodeon on CBS" block way back in the early 2000's. The show must've had some popularity but it feels like nobody really seems to remember it all that much.

I remember Rupert. Looks like he just turned 100 last year. I assume that Stewie's bear from Family Guy is named after him.

In addition to Little Bear they also had a show about a turtle named Franklin. And I just accidentally stumbled upon Franklin inflation art. Kill me.

So anyone here remember this mystery show that was a cross between Scooby Doo and Totally Spies known as Martin Mystery? The show starred your average goofball 2000s cartoon character, his girlboss friend, and their ancient caveman sidekick. I remember loving the format of "here's a bunch of gadgets you'll be using to get out of trouble alter in the episode. Whole series is here. Lotta grossout humor, but I cant recall any times it got offensively gross
