I noticed this when it comes to feminism. Truth be told it makes sense because colored women have had different experiences to white woman. However, I'm seeing a trend where POC of different backgrounds are openly anti-white, and it's no longer left vs. right, but open racism. How white leftists are oblivious to this is amazing.

I think so much of it is because they either don't live among the people that they claim to be so great and noble (black people, Muslims, sexual minorities, trannies, whichever group they're claiming to be oh so perfect, etc.) or they are around so few who are curated; the classic example of someone who grew up in a nice area, went to a private school, then went to some fancy university, and is now going to lecture some guy from Tennessee who went into the trades straight out of high school as to how "the average black person really is." Keep in mind I keep bringing up black people here because lets be honest, we all know that 90% of the time that's what POC/minority means in an American context.
And then there's that there's no more confident group of people than white leftists. They genuinely believe that the entire system is rigged for them to never not be on top (and they're so ignorant and in their own bubble that they think this is some kind of global phenomenon.) I think that's why they're so into the idea of trying to tear it down: they don't actually think it's possible, but it's fashionable to look like they're "fighting the good fight." A forever war against themselves, or rather, against those who look like them but aren't them. It's why they don't care about demographic trends or anything either. They think that they'll always have their little gated community that's safe (white) and out of the way. They'll shit on people who look like them and never think that they'll encourage harm to come to them(selves) because they see themselves as "the good ones."

Forced labour, but in practice most of them get away because law enforcement is often quite ineffective outside Pyongyang. Most poor countries have masses of unreported crimes even when they have lynch mobs cutting people's hands off for stealing from time to time. Corruption ruins everything.
South Korea on the other hand is very low crime outside the grimiest areas.

Philip Pullman is respectable and left-wing, anti-Christian, and a darling of the Guardian-reading middle class. I'm surprised he'd step this far out of line.
My guess though is that he has some sort of PR person who told him he might well lose the Executive Producer position at the Beeb if he didn't immediately fall back in line. And fall in line he very much did.

He tweeted this out the next day, apologising for all the harm he's done to writers of colour (including children) and people of colour who are not writers (including children, again).
But in the replies to that tweet, the mob started going for blood, saying that he didn't apologise enough or for the right things or to the right people.
People can't stop pointing out the people he killed with his traumatic words are all poor oppressed wimmens and POCs.
Predictably enough, the Al Queda comparison is being called Islamophobic a bunch of times.
The same user also calls into question the author's past behaviour. Because of course that's also open to attack now.
And then this Jax guy starts complaining the apology tweet (a picture of text) is not accessible to blind people who use screen-reading software.
And then - I shit you not - the next reply is someone saying it's bad form at all to post images of text, so even if Pullman had included Twitter's captions for the blind, it still wouldn't have been good enough.
(Also, to the blind person reading this thread with a screen-reader: the images are all screenshots of your family members calling you a faggot behind your back, so don't bother asking them what it says. You're welcome.)
And then, in perhaps the most bizarre series of replies so far, a cucked he/him gets castigated by an Islamic she/her for the crime of... accepting Pullman's apology... only to apologise, himself, for not automatically agreeing when a Victim Of Racism says a thing or a person is racist.
This fucking guy, who self-describes as "CEO and Co-Founder of Podium. Building a user-moderated social network to stop toxicity, misinformation, and abuse online." seems determined to be as toxic as possible:
It must just be a standard NPC dialog path. Because another user says the exact same thing (almost word for word) at the same time.
If you scroll down far enough, you'll notice some of the tweets are kinda okay. No one however is saying he didn't need to apologise in the first place. Although a handful of Far-Alt-Right Neo-Nazi Troll Bots are rightfully making fun of the wokies.
Also, the incident made headlines in the Independent (and I hear the BBC too).

I really have no nice words to say about this. Fuck PP for apologising. Fuck the "people" who made him apologise. And fuck them again for demanding accountability on top of what he already did. I think that the only good outcome of this would be if Philip Pullman were to join JKR on the cancelled side of media and become an icon of former leftists driven away from the cause.
