You're absolutely right...it's like some sort of unholy trinity between spergs, TTG and really, really shitty artwork.
 
So what? they hate a cartoon a lot, I mean it something but not a lot that interesting or funny. I can only see this thread dying, or it turning into just nothing but being sperging on and on about the cartoon itself and not actually about the topic; you know like every single thread related to cartoons here.

Admittedly, I understand, but do we want this thread to go the way of the subforum?

We need actual, honest to God lolcow stuff here, or else it'll degenerate...
 
I can't believe I have to do this. I don't really know much about the Teen Titans Go Hatedom but I do recall some decent ones here and there, and although most of them are due to the Entersphere it's not hard to find some which are not.

1. YouTube
YouTube is a huge goldmine of content, because to me it's probably the worst community due to underaged kids and manchildren spergs. There's also some hugboxes there too and the users there are really fucking spergy, and we're in a time where it's pretty easy to upload a video. To find YouTube videos, try to find some golden videos, be it cringey or unintentionally hilarious. Bonus points if it's 10+ minutes of raging.

2. DeviantArt
Ah, DeviantArt. Although from the looks of it it has really good art, but on the other hand, there's some godawful fetish art, MSPaint shit and more. DeviantArt is really notorious for being a hugbox too for several reasons, one of them being you can hide comments for an art you can upload. (lolwut)

3. TVTropes
TVTropes, so spergy and such a hivemind of fetishes and spergery that there's even once a YouTube series making fun of TVTropes. The forums are also pretty funny too.

Frostbyte: And if that wasn't bad enough, "Boy vs. Girls" outright states that girls are better than boys. I mean, there's always a subtext that one is better than the other if there's an episode with this plot and it soesn't end in a tie, but Robin turns to the camera and says it to the audience and treat it like it was the moral of the episode. I'm female and I was disgusted with the writers, even if it was "just a joke" as some people defend it. Like, this episode really pisses me of. I wasn't a fan of TTG! to begin with, but "Boys vs. Girls" truly is a DMO for me.

I really hope after this post there will be more content for this thread instead of cartoon sperging. It's fine to discuss the cartoon, but it's best to get the thread back on track, preferably you can discuss both the cartoon and making fun of the hatedom.
 
see. im not a fan of the show because nostalgiafag. but that doesnt give me, or anyone else merit to smear their figurative shit all over the internet while sobbing about it. you can probably watch episodes of the old show on netflix or boomerang if you catch it at the right time, but for some reason the hatedom doesnt get this. its not like the creation of go! wiped out the entire existence of the original

See, they don't understand that. They think the original has been soiled by the new show. They can't comprehend that it's nothing to worry about and that the original show is still there for you to watch it if you wish.

Here's the description
I grew up watching Teen Titans since I was 8. It was one of the greatest animated series of all time. When the show got cancelled I was heartbroken but it was ok. In 2012 a "revival of the show was announced by Cartoon Network and me and most other fans were overjoyed and excited, assuming Teen Titans will return. In 2013, "TEEN TITANS GO" was launched. This show is NOT what we expected at all. It ruined my life. I HATE THIS SHOW!!!

The show's artstyle is worse than anything you'll find in NewGrounds. The characters are drawn poorly, and the background always has up to 10 colors. The reason it's is animated in flash is entirely because it was cheap because the producers care entirely about money, not the audience.

It badly abuses well-loved DC comic characters. For example, Dick 'Robin' Grason has become a manic selfish saneless maniac, the monsterous demon Trigon has become a looney 'shut-up-dad' stereotype and a less threat to the world than Raven herself, and Speedy Kid Flash Aqualad and Terra are made villains who get slammed in every episode in favor of SHIPPING.

Aaron and Michel are very mean and offencive towards us. Every year in San Diego Comic Con, they make fun of us, dubbing us 'the haters' and laugh at our pain. The episode 'Lets Get Serious' was made with intention of throwing a big fat trollface.gif in our faces.

Teen Titans Go! only has 611 supporters and they are mere fans of the old series who supported the show ENTIRELY because of the overrated 'BBrae' (Beast Boy + Raven). Shippers are NOT real fans, they'll support ANYTHING that has their favorite pairing together in at least 1 frame, whether its a jew-animated, fart-comidec parody, a dirty hentai flash, an adult anti-religion movie, or a live graphic footage of human baby slaughtering.

This show is NOT better than nothing, its a destructive disaster!!
Love that casual antisemitism; Is this real or a troll petition? Either way 10 people thought it was real and that's lolworthy.

I suppose the irony here is that a lot of DC fans hated the first Teen Titans cartoon with a passion, because it wasn't like the 'real' Teen Titans from the comics, it was cartoony, had more jokes/humor, pseudo-anime styling and a jovial theme song.

It's like when Friendship is Magic first came out and got popular, there were these sects of Gen 3 Bronies that nobody really knew or cared about until Gen 4 came out and they started sperging.

I mean who gives a fuck about any of it? There were also the grimdark Batman fans who sperged over Brave and the Bold back in 2008, even though it was a close reimagining of the classic Silver Age Batman, they couldn't appreciate anything that wasn't their favorite dark version of Batman, even though it was a throwback to the history of the character and should have been liked by True and Honest Fans.

When did this exactly start, anyway? I don't remember comic Batman fans shitting themselves in rage over the Adam West TV Batman, even though it was goofy and campy. I also don't remember any Adam West Batman spergs losing their shit over the new dark Batman.
 
I've dealt with these spergs when I had to take care of my high school's geek club.
my only regret is not tampering with their teen titan footage and replace it all with the 1967's Filmation teen titans
