Teen Titans Go Hatedom

The show's pretty terrible from what I've seen of it (given that it's written by unfunny MAD magazine/cartoon staff and all) but goddamn just turn off the telly and watch something else. :sighduck:

Same. Watching cartoons you hate is the equivalent of cutting yourself.

I just avoid it to deny them ratings, but than again I and this crazy hatedom aren't the target audience, so this doesn't matter.

The way some people go on and on about the silly cartoon you'd think that it killed their family and made them watch.
I'd like to assume that's what happened in their pathetic little minds. The show killed their families, so they decide to retaliate. When in reality, they're really just going apeshit over a show that really wasn't supposed to be for them to begin with.

Also, Kudos to the writing staff for knowing and taking the piss out of these people. Lord knows I would have done the same.

(Also, is it wrong to say "I hate the hatedom and hope they die?")

I watched this for a few episodes when I was in the states a while ago, I think it's a fun show for kids and if someone wants something related to the series that's aimed at an older audience they can go find the original series on Youtube, like let the kids have their fun.

How to join the TTG hatedom:
  1. Shoehorn your burning hatred for the show into every discussion, because everyone totally cares!
  2. Make sure to throw baseless insults at the writers, maybe even directly harass them on social media.
  3. Read as deep as you can into the show. A silly story about boys vs. girls? That's plain sexist!
  4. Need an argument? Repeat a few invalid points over and over.
And remember, saying negatives things about TTG is very profound, and it makes you very special. So get out there and spread your autism!

It’s funny, because part of the reason “Go!” was green-lit by the network was because of fan demand to revive the show. They tested the waters by broadcasting shorts, like the one below, on the infamous DC Nation block. These predate the “Go!” series by a year.

Dig that mature humor, yo.

Response was good enough that a series was picked up. So it’s all hilarious karma for the fans who where begging for a sixth season of their “kawaii” superhero anime.

Anyways seeing as those kids watching this show are paying for more episodes of programs with higher budgets like “Adventure Time” and “Steven Universe” that these critics just gush over, this whole controversy is nigh pointless.

I can see why this show was ultimately picked up, kids love fart and burp jokes.

I don't have an opinion of the show, but why in the hell is CN rerunning it 24/7?
Don't tell me it's their new Johnny Test...

Cartoon Network did worse shit than Teen Titans Go (like shifting away from cartoons into misc. Live Action bullshit).

Not worth the hate boner. But, neither are cartoons in general (yes I can take a break from laughing at Bronies).

Última edición:
They do think it killed Teen Titans (the original), and some other show (Young Justice, I think?).

I feel like I should mention that some of these people who whine about Teen Titans Go are upset that action animation isn't what it used to be and whine how their favorite action shows got canceled. Never mind that they were expensive to produce and never got the desired ratings. Clearly the network had it in for those shows.

Eh the original Cartoon Network Teen Titans was better.....this....is just trash.

You keep on saying that.

Does anyone have any examples of stupid Teen Titans Go hate?

I'll start. The WallBangers page at TV Tropes has some good ones:

For all the wallbangers that this show has, a Tagline was added in early 2015: "Teen Titans Go: Your New Favorite Show". No, seriously. Telling us that we like it isn't going to magically convince us to like it, Cartoon Network.
  • Who wrote that? Mordecai & Rigby? Benson better fire them for this...
  • Cartoon Network has really gone mad with power with these promos. Went to see Inside Out and had to sit through a 30-second "Your New Favorite Show" promo twice. And then a 2-minute one. I'm not even close to kidding.
  • Well, they've stopped trying to insist it's your new favorite, but now, they have a new promo that insists the Titans are your "new best friends", along with the main cast of We Bare Bears. While most agree with the latter, the former is yet another bold-faced lie in an attempt to force the detractors to like it.

Here's one from their Dethroning Moment of Suck page:

Might as well have a DMoS for the more recent Teen Titans Go! series. There are so many bad episodes of this series, I wish I could but the whole series as aDethroning Moment of Suck, but since there is a rule against it, I'm going with the ending to "Super Robin". The rest of the episode was okay, but the ending in particular made me mad. It ends with an elderly Robin laying in his death bed and the rest of the Titans cruelly teasing Robin. It ends with Raven whispering "I told you so." and a flatline indicating that Robin has died. This scene offended me not just because they killed off one of my childhood heroes, but because of the rest of the Titans laughing and mocking him. Yeah, great respect for the dead, Titans. Just for this moment alone, I will never look at the original Teen Titans the same again.

A Tooncrap review on one of the episodes.

Shit... Didn't notice that...

Our old pal Kirby Krisis is getting in on this action: http://www.deviantart.com/art/Toddler-Titans-Lyrics-494063889
Oh yeah Tommy was hating on this shit since the get go; him and little art spergs making shitty art yelling at the creators, killing characters, constantly nit-picking every single episode of a show they just fucking hate...so it really brings up the question about how much free time some of these fuckers actually have. I don't have the time in the day to obsessively watch cartoons, especially ones that I have no interest in, and it's not like they just can't change the fucking channel or do something else. Yeah, I liked the 2000's series but it was cancelled. Happens to a lot of shows I like. Big whoop; I'm not going to get pants shittingly mad about it.

Which one of you spergs is gonna mention enter first?

Somebody already posted fan art of him.

We've reached the point of no return.

They have no life. They probably live with their parents. Enough time to whine about stuff they hate obsessively.
