For starters, the "sailfin dragon" dragon skeleton is a komodo dragon
Real sailfin lizard skeleton has bones very similar to spinosaurus (right, bottom) with long neural spines (top sticks) and thus part of the tail is taller than its wide:
However the flatness of the paddle isn't just because the tail bones are tall, but because the end of the tail is both tall AND lacks the caudal ribs (side sticks) that muscle attaches to:
So the smaller the side sticks in the tail are, the less muscle has attachment points, so it becomes thinner (like most mammal tails), and spinos tailtip lacked those while still having long top stick parts which would have made it tall... and flat. Like a paddle
So yeah the found tail is nowhere near identical to the komodo dragon or iguana tail she posted as a proof, and the actual tailfin dragon skeleton more or less supports the fact the tail was flat.
Sure you can always scream it's fake or wrong tail or deformed or rearranged or they reconstructed it with too many liberties but much like with raptor feathers, she's more likely just in hardcore denial.
