The lack of hats is the reason I didn't bother with the new races. I'm a big fan of the viera asthetic from FFTA.
I like playing mages, and one of the things I like about mages are the big hats. No hat means no deal.

Always loved their animations but I do wish they had more wearable head-pieces. Just don't go repeatedly posting buttloads of pictures of her. While you're at it ten Hail Halones if you want to be truly cleansed.
To be honest, I never go for hats much. Most of the time it's either wearing sunglasses or some other head-piece, although it still sucks that SE decided to be cheapasses and cut development corners for hats and hairstyles.
Then again, I wanted to do a Viera Monk w/ a side of playing as a mage (of both schools: light/dark). No hats doesn't bother me atm, but I wish they would fix that first before introducing bunbois.

I used my ARR free Fanta to go Viera not realizing I couldn't wear a hat. Finally had enough and bought a Fanta to go Au Ra.

Destiny (or Steven Bonnell) is a manchild who tries to be an intenet politics person. He has a thread in the Internet Famous lolcow farm section.
Uberdanger is a YouTuber who got caught vote brigading social media a few years ago with a bunch of other YouTube buddies to make money off of YouTube. One of his notable exploits was bragging about how he could fuck underage girls in other countries because in his country, the age of consent is a certain age. He's your typical douche YouTuber who makes videos for kids. He's also in Keemstar's personal circle if I'm not mistaken. Keemstar also has a thread on the farms, he's a rat and a piece of shit.
Definitely would help on some ideas for a Wuxia mage/tank outfit I'm trying to come up with. Monk's already easy enough, but need to get the Bhikku Knotcap and Cyclas for my current bun's glamour.

I finished ARR today, and when I was doing Meridianum one of our healers kept backseating the tanks and bitching about how they weren't pulling enough. We were all sprouts except for them (returner lol), but they still asked "Is this your first time?" and I couldn't help but wonder why you wouldn't just tank yourself if you're so much of a hardass tanks not pulling every group at once warrants 5 messages each.

Impatient fucks who probably just wanted to get the shortest MSQ roulette dungeon done for their Revelations and didn't want to deal with newfags approaching things at their own pace.
I'm noticing an increasingly stark contrast between the leveling experience and level 80 experience lately. People leveling are generally fairly amicable and patient, and what they lack in competency, they make up for in communication and willingness to learn. Meanwhile, nobody says a fucking word in Expert roulettes and you get DPS and healers pretending to be tanks when you pull maybe one CD too slow for their tastes. Or they can't help but shit out their burst AoE rotations mid-pull while still wanting you to wall-to-wall pull well before you have all the trash piled together and aggro safely established.
The faggots who /return in Matoya's Relict before the run to the final boss have been irking me the most. Someone STILL has to stay behind to make sure the poroggo does its little event flag to trigger the final boss to spawn, so while /returning may make the boss spawn faster, you yourself won't be starting the fight any quicker since you're gonna have to wait for everyone else to port back and run to the arena anyway.

I've just started saying fuck it when this happens. If a pug dps drops dead because they pulled off me during a wall to wall then so be it. I'm lucky enough to have a pocket heals though, so I don't have to worry about a pug heal with a savior complex try to dig a tard out of his aggro tard pit.
Edit: Another thing pissing me off when a dps pulls something on accident and instead of calming walking to where I am proceeds to run around like a chicken with its head cut off. Sprouts I can forgive for this, but I see fucking Burger King Crowns doing it. Fucker that crown means you have spent waaaaay too much time playing this game to not understand this simple concept.

Once again proving the old adage that Mentors are typically the worst and most retarded players of the game.
Another PUG dungeon thing related to AoE bursting mid-pull that is absolutely maddening is when the White Mage consistently Holy spams before the pull is anywhere close to finished. You do realize that Stun coupled together with your spam while I'm still running ahead is just going draw that entire mob onto you instead, right? Especially when you're retarded enough to keep hanging out close to the back and you make no attempt to at least pull them towards me when they do inevitably change threat. On top of that, you're effectively making half of a wall-to-wall pull Stun resistant because you decided to blow your load too early, and thus you can't safely stand in the middle of things and spam your Holy when the pull is actually finished. I've had a handful of White Mages self-destruct doing exactly this because they don't pay any attention to the fact that their Holy spam ISN'T stunning the pack anymore.

Also ran into that plenty of times lately as well. Or, even better, they throw out maybe one Holy in a mob then back out and just stand there and do nothing other than occasionally maybe healing.
EDIT: Come to think of it, I've also seen Aero II spam, on top of the usual Glare spamming on one single mob of the entire pack. Like, not simply reapplying Aero II to keep a DOT timer ticking, but outright spamming it. All the while never touching a single one of their AoE skills.

I mean, as a newer played that mained white mage when I was new, I didn't use Holy really until I was max level. To when I wasn't using it I would get bitched at. Then I started using it occasionally, but now you're really expected to use Holy ever other GCD spell

Holy spamming has always been the centerpiece of White Mage AOE damage. You also have other tools like Assize to help it along.

When you're not running to the next position you're usually going to be using Holy repeatedly, once you have Assize you'll also be weaving that in when someone (preferably the tank) gets a little damage. If all is going well you're mostly going to be stunning them until they become immune to it and they'll die shortly after.
If any of your party starts taking serious damage (usually DPS from standing in aoes like a lump) you should pause the holy to heal them up. Afflatus Solace is a good choice for that and you get it at level 52 so not super far into leveling WHM, getting into a habit of using that is good since it later will get you to charge up Afflatus Misery which is a good AOE attack that you can fire off at packs (or just single targets too). If they bitch about you healing then tell them to sit and spin, then leave them to die when they inevitably stand in the AOE like a dipshit.
