It really doesn't though.
So for an mRNA vaccine you need two things. mRNA that forces your cells to make an antigen and then an incipient that lets the mRNA breach through the cell membrane into the cytoplasm. Where it will be picked up and used to create the protein you're trying to create antibodies against.
The COVID-19 spike proteins created by your cells remain in your muscle tissue and your immune system goes to work on them. Some of the incipient that allows for cell entry will spread throughout your body but...it doesn't do anything.

It links to Children's Health Defense (RFK's outfit) which links to VAERS, which has a disclaimer reading, “The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable.” The reports aren't vetted, in other words. If you vaccinate the entire world, some people will die or be diagnosed with serious conditions within a couple days of getting the shot.

Reporting absolutely everything to VAERS is important though because it prevents clinical judgment from entering into the process. Yeah, your dodgeball injury was probably not caused by the vaccine, but also you could use the same mindset to say that your cerebral venous thrombosis wasn't caused by the vaccine.
Having access to as much data as humanly possible and then having qualified professionals interpret it is what VAERS and Yellow Card (the NHS equivalent) is all about. We are required BY LAW to report to VAERS if you're admitted inpatient for absolutely anything.
