I see the shitposters are visiting today.

How long exactly did that version of Alex were she was dressed more like a man last? I've only seen like two or three comic of her in that outfit.

We're flogging a dead horse here, and it wasn't even one that particularly deserved to die.

No one is expecting hyper-realism but even cartoons have a basis in reality. I don't really have time to write up an essay but what really puts me off is that he thinks he's Disney material but doesn't want to do any Disney-tier effort into his work as shown in his animated short.

I'll give you half credit for that. Yes, some people here probably do hate him because they disagree with his stated views on social justice and other who share those views, and admittedly comments can get... caustic at times. On the other hand, he is also a demonstrated hypocrite (largely only caring about social justice for asspats and because of his lesbian fetish) as well as an idiot (his comment about the use of aircraft and ships in a modern military comes to mind) and an asshole (Zelda Williams).

He's also made claims about people doing "sexist crap" when he himself used to do inflation art, which adds more to his hypocrisy.
 
He's an egotistical douche that can't draw for shit and has his head too far up his ass to put forth any effort into improving that.

Forget the inflation art - it's a sick fetish, but it's just a fetish. Reading through AzP, it's a bunch of "lol, women are so silly and horny and vain!" dressed up in wacky hijinks and "grrl powah!" It's the work of a man who thinks of women as being amusingly childish beings whose actions are significant only when they provide him some form of gratification. I don't know, maybe I'm just tired and feeling overly bitchy, but he just doesn't seem to have any respect for his female characters.

What's complicated about it? If someone is a grade A asshole, they should expect to get called out on it. Being SJW isn't the exact reason because we know Dobson is too fake for even SJW's. He's the kind that would fuck you in the belly button if you were asleep, then claim you are against 'the gays' if you squirmed away... He's a creepy dick.

That is an oddly specific example.

On the topic of gay people, though, I find it ironic that despite Dobson's pretensions of supporting gay rights, it's easily Alex who comes off as the most homophobic character, what with her disgust at the idea of gay guys hitting on her. I could understand her not being very fond of Atea, who frequently creeps on her, but there's this weird undercurrent of "ew, gays!" to the whole thing.

But see, that's the problem. As @John Titor pointed out- Cartoons have some basis in reality. That's far from what I'm seeing in Dobson's art.

What I do see, is the sight of a grown-ass man wasting his life away making ugly rage comics about the things he hates, fap material featuring the forced Korrasami ship or his female pirates (I'm legit surprised he hasn't thought of putting two and two together), and terrible attempts at fan art and jokes. The fact that he went to an acclaimed collage just makes it worse, I think.

Now I'm not expecting people to become the next Di Vinci or Michelangelo, but what I want to see is some kind of effort. As it stands Dobbo doesn't seem to be giving even 1 percent of effort. Fuck, I'm not even sure I can say he's not trying. He's to the point where I don't think I can even call him a hack. That's how bad he is.

Also @Dobson Nintendo is a corporation in the modern world, they don't care about your 'loyalty'; in fact they care less and less each year so yeah.
