I went by byuu from 1998 to 2020. I changed my name exactly one time to Near because people were namesearching "byuu" on Twitter to screencap and harass people who said anything nice about me. Because of this, now the only thing you find mentioning "byuu" are negative comments. I threw away a reputation I spent 22 years building in order to protect other people.
bsnes is an SNES emulator. higan is a multi-system emulator that tries to be cycle accurate no matter what. ares is a multi-system emulator that tries to be faster and supports 3D systems, recompilers, Vulkan, etc. I did try to group the latter two into one emulator, but it was super confusing to users to have two very different GUIs and emulators in the same higan package, so I split it off.
It sounds like I've upset you somehow. If there's something I did to you in the past, can you please DM me? I'd like to apologize personally if so.

His business card links to an Ohio area code, so he's most likely using a VoIP port if he is living in Japan. Long story short, apart from a first name and an Ohio phone number, he didn't really give much for dox.
