I know it's rough animation, but even then it doesn't move very fluidly, and it just seems off to me.

Actually, pretty sure Chris's work is better than Dobson's. Hear me out.
Chris's art is legendarily terrible, but that's just the reason he's better than Dobson. Sonichu is so autistically insane that it becomes hilarious. The crayola art, the retarded world building, the nonsense lines, all of it makes it unforgettable and, in a way, endearing. And don't forget that Chris had no formal art training, unlike Dobson.
Dobson's art, in contrast, is just flat and boring. Whereas Sonichu is entertaining in how bad it is, AZP and Dobbie's other crap is just bland, milquetoast. That's the perfect word for Dobson, Milquetoast. AZP is just the bland, forgettable swill pushed out by a milquetoast whiner. Can you remember anything from AZP? Any entertaining moments or characters? No. Does AZP inspire any sort of parody? No, because there's nothing to parody. Dobson failed so hard, his comic couldn't even reach "so bad it becomes entertaining".
And that is why Chris is a better artist and cartoonist than Dobson. Do you agree? Vote here.

Dobson used hyperbole to tell a joke. Cause he realizes that when people say "how to draw" books aren't worth learning from (which is debatable but pretty honest advise) they're talking about literal "how to draw" books and, not just any books about drawing. And so Dobson, the geinus that he is, decides to take that notion and stretch it out to a point where nothing makes sense anymore. Laughter time.

For me it's that Chris was simply more excited to create his art. Dobson has yet to show any enthusiasm.

This is easily the most cringe-worthy thing I've seen from Dobson. Even if you disagree with the Conservative parties it is pretty obvious that NO their goal is not to bring back slavery and turn women into wombs with legs.
