I tuned in his stream for 5 minutes and it's beyond terrible he is completely checked out, when a character is talking to him half the time he goes BLA BLA BLA BLA and when dialog occurs either by his character or another one sometimes he skips it after half a second without reading it.He comes across a scene where a massacre appears to have occurred and sings "BLOOD AND BODIES!!!🎵🎶🎶🎵" as if singing was commentary.

A female character that appears to be possessed by a demon starts talking about how she doesn't want "him" to hate her and that maybe "he" doesn't like her body but she wants to keep her human form so she can sing and feel the sun on her skin, Phil interrupts her to pigsplain how she is speaking english now unlike other times, his eyes go to the floor and shut for about 2 seconds, he opens them back again and goat laughs UUHUHUHUHU and says "she wants to be human again", how the fuck is that funny? why are you goat laughing at that? After that little cutscene he immediately starts reading donations, this is terrible you have to be a wheelchair to like it.

Does anyone find it weird how phil is generally unbelievably lazy but randomly goes anal retentive and exerts unnecessary effort for certain things like regularly releasing audio only announcements? Like how many blind fans does Phil have besides the one? Is there anything special about it that they could not get just by listening to his regular announcements?

My guess is it lets him tell himself he put in a full 10 hours of work a day .

Listening to Phil talk about DBD earlier today and it's just really baffling to me how out of touch he is with gaming in general and also just... logic.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=CDg0t2oT0yw:2347Timestamped at 39:07 if you'd like to listen.

1) Dead by Daylight is dead because it's... old? LoL is over 10 years old - over twice the age of DBD - and is still going strong. Same with WoW, CS:GO, Hearthstone, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, and a ton of other games that just continuously receive updates. How does he not know how these things work? He used to return to Overwatch all the time and still goes back to Warzone.

2) Isn't it kind of a big deal that the game is getting a crossover with the biggest horror franchise on the planet, in addition to it's other collaborations with the other biggest horror franchises on the planet, including other games like Silent Hill? Wouldn't Resident Evil fans (like Phil) be more interested in DBD now that there's all this Resident Evil content in the game?

3) It's ironic then that Phil is also just totally fine with playing Super Turbo over and over considering it's also a dead game. What about when he was playing Minecraft? What about when he replayed Mass Effect 2 last year, or any time he replays an older game? What's the point, it's a dead game nobody thinks about anymore, right?

4) Really telling too that Phil has basically no idea what popular games to stream were when he was on a platform that clearly lists what games are popular to stream. DBD was the 17th most streamed game in the past month, beating out other titles like Hearthstone, Rocket League, Overwatch, and Black Ops Cold War. Seems like a game people want to watch, doesn't it?

I'm not going to demand that Phil play DBD or whatever (though I would find it pretty funny), but it's his reasoning for it that is just really amusing to me. I get that it's a disposable excuse and it's just him pigsplaining to me a bunch of bullshit that doesn't make sense, but Phil really does have no idea what he's talking about with most everything.
And he has claimed that he's "part of the gaming industry" but this motherfucker does no research. E3 for him is just another scheduled bitch fest. Wont watch gaming trailers, claims all game completion times are wrong when hes the one for every 2mins of gameplay you get 5mins of shoutouts and derailment.

Been doing a pretty deep dive on some old Phil content and I gotta say this moment really tickled me.

It reminds me of when he went out of his way to avoid direct capture. At first, it was just a few bullshit excuses like how recording the TV with a camera makes you feel like you're sitting rght next to him for the immersion. But then he bought a new camera + a bunch of new batteries (apparently 80 bucks a pop, Christ). Add in all the camera settings on a game-by-game basis and I'm pretty sure all that was more effort and more expensive than a capture card, so it was money and effort put into all the wrong places. It cracks me up every time I think about it.

It's kind of weird to see him to go extra effort for anyone but himself.

Phil is salty that people are pressing him about Biomutant. He's calling people entitled.
He is now saying he never cared about Biomutant at all. In fact, he cared so little, he's never seen a gameplay trailer.

Great example of Phil bending his narratives to fit whatever he wants. He claims he avoids gameplay trailers because he wants to go in 'cold turkey' and not spoil anything for himself. He was playing it up last week like Biomutant was going to be a surprise because he hadn't seen anything about it, and that was exciting. Now he didn't watch the trailers because he doesn't care, he never actually cared. The reviews turned him off, so fuck it.
So does he watch trailers for games that he is interested in?
Nah, he's just always lazy, and that lazy fits whatever reasoning he wants it to fit.

He also curiously stated that things have changed and he can't play every new release because of tighter finances.
So I take it then that the $5k monthly business expenses have declined because he isn't purchasing games, which he said was part of the monthly expenses.
Which is also interesting because his income since the time of the bankruptcy has gone up, and the bankruptcy docs showed that with his income then and the full $5k expenses, he was narrowly losing money each month. So how is money tighter now?
Another classic case of Phil was either lying then, or he's lying now, because both things simply cannot be true.
The 5k expenses are mind boggling on the filing. I tried to gather my 4 brain cells and still figured with 4 games a week plus his dead weight big boy internet he's at maybe at 1000-1200 a month. He continues the poor story despite shedding thousands of "bill" money a month. I agree Surly muppet in this case and also with others his spending is crap and getting worse. If he can't cry poor the violent shaking of the change cup would stop and hurt him behind the scenes. Technically, he should be in better shape but then again I'm a mentally ill immature shithead kid.

Why does every DSP stream now consist of

1: Phil is late....again

2: Jasper comes in and asserts dominance over Phil(bites the shit out of his hand as Phil nervously laughs) so in retaliation, Phil tosses him out of the room.

3: Phil argues with his chat after asking for advice(classic Phil)

4: Jealousy segment where he rants about what he doesn't have.

5; Victim segment which transitions into a begment,

6: Shoutouts...(actually just Phil banning anyone criticizing his begment).

I probably missed a few or should take some out but holy shit is he so goddamn predictable.
My favorite part is that "playing the game" isn't in there

According to tracker sites, DbD is #16 in most watched games on twitch this week, #18 for the last year. Its one of the most popular games to stream and watch. I'm pretty sure that's the opposite of dead.

We all know the real reason he wont return is because he will get his shit pushed in immediately. If the chat can't handhold him, its an immediate veto.

Wut, Phil having a shitty take regarding gaming in general? You don't say?

If Phil isn't having a shit take in video games the man isn't breathing.

I think he just left the more "spicy" details of the message 😉
While I agree that was the inference and would certainly be the semantic loophole he thinks he left but the only reason he came up with this tale was to tell the plebs they can send him money at any time.

Not weird at all when the only reason he does it is to hear the sound of his own voice.

The autism vortex never fails to amaze me.

Phil is currently streaming to less than 200 people. I'd wager that streamers with that amount of viewers would struggle to even get 100 dollars, but Phil's there with more than 200 in tips + Members + SuperChats.

By the way, he has almost as many members as he has viewers, LMAO. He's probably the only streamer on YouTube with weird numbers like that.

I also see the total member goal has mysteriously been raise by 25
The goal is how many he needs for another emote; he updated it immediately once he got 125, since then it showed up on his dashboard as the next threshold.
ETA: I think he mused today about weaponizing the YouTube Membership count for another Viewers' Choice or whatever.

On his break DSP was rocking back and forth and before the slide ended was on his phone. Got what i wanted. he doesn't turn on his camera to play on his phone

Someone pointed this out last time he streamed. He did the exact same thing on a night stream. He sits in the chair playing with his phone while his viewers wait for him. He hit his tips goal so he probably doesn't give a fuck for the rest of the stream.

Yup he'll dip into the old well of "it's an old game and the only people still playing are the die hard basement dwelling no lifers that play this exclusively and have thousands of hours in".
