Maybe im an asshole for not undertanding but do blind people really want to play video games? The market for that must be insanely small. Part of me thinks its just ok for devs to say video games aren't for everyone and not even worry about it. I tried to watch a SBM playthroughs and its like, almost undignified? He doesn't know whats going on and is totally dependent on people watching him and telling him what to do, he doesn't even know if he succeeded unless they say he did.

We need RobOnWheels to play some american football, I think the steelers would be a great team for him, honestly, get SBM on that team too. Let's make it happen!

I've said it before but that shit is unwatchable by him and unlistenable to by us. I don't think other blind people would want to listen to Micro Machine Man speed text to speech program either.

His streams aren't really for anybody but himself and his Shrek wife.

He's a "consultant" which in creative industries means he's paid far too much by huge companies to come in and tell people who know what they're doing that they're fucking up and ought to do it Another Way instead.

My experience is definitely coloring my opinion but honestly I don't have a lot of sympathy for overpaid outsiders with minimal-to-no experience telling professionals how to so much as tie their shoes, especially when they then jump on social media and whine about how overlooked in society they are. You got a fat payday to tell Naughty Dog to make their subtitles bigger, fuck off.

Yeah I can see a market for lets plays geared towards blind people who want the story experience. I still dont get "playing" a game by being told exactly what inputs to put in and then being told you did it.

Phil's lolcow status makes it easy to portray himself as a victim, and that makes it easy for other internet/real life rejects to go "Phil is just like me." and think he's a source of inspiration, oblivious to the kind of person he really is.

Why does every DSP stream now consist of

1: Phil is late....again

2: Jasper comes in and asserts dominance over Phil(bites the shit out of his hand as Phil nervously laughs) so in retaliation, Phil tosses him out of the room.

3: Phil argues with his chat after asking for advice(classic Phil)

4: Jealousy segment where he rants about what he doesn't have.

5; Victim segment which transitions into a begment,

6: Shoutouts...(actually just Phil banning anyone criticizing his begment).

I probably missed a few or should take some out but holy shit is he so goddamn predictable.

Not trying to sound snarky. Many see him as the underdog and wish the same for their degenerate selves. He has a crazy young fan base when "popular" on youtube, its carried over to twitch. I know he was older fans but its scary to think his overall fan base is like 25 lol.

Phil is salty that people are pressing him about Biomutant. He's calling people entitled.
He is now saying he never cared about Biomutant at all. In fact, he cared so little, he's never seen a gameplay trailer.

Great example of Phil bending his narratives to fit whatever he wants. He claims he avoids gameplay trailers because he wants to go in 'cold turkey' and not spoil anything for himself. He was playing it up last week like Biomutant was going to be a surprise because he hadn't seen anything about it, and that was exciting. Now he didn't watch the trailers because he doesn't care, he never actually cared. The reviews turned him off, so fuck it.
So does he watch trailers for games that he is interested in?
Nah, he's just always lazy, and that lazy fits whatever reasoning he wants it to fit.

He also curiously stated that things have changed and he can't play every new release because of tighter finances.
So I take it then that the $5k monthly business expenses have declined because he isn't purchasing games, which he said was part of the monthly expenses.
Which is also interesting because his income since the time of the bankruptcy has gone up, and the bankruptcy docs showed that with his income then and the full $5k expenses, he was narrowly losing money each month. So how is money tighter now?
Another classic case of Phil was either lying then, or he's lying now, because both things simply cannot be true.

Myself and many think they associate themselves with phil through the perceived notion that he is a victim of unfair bullying, like they were or are in their life. So it's not so much that they think they're supporting phil, but rather they think they're supporting some kind of anti-bullying movement.

When the truth is, Phil is the bully. But these people aren't normal.
