There was a guy on X Factor (not a fan of talent shows) a while back who called out Demi Lovato on using autotune, then Briteny Spears butts in to defend her. I know the guy may not have had the best showing, he had a point. It describes Dobson and his fans pretty well.

How is that guy managing to hold that mug of beer in the second panel? I can almost see him holding a shot glass with just his index finger and thumb, but in the top panel it's clearly a full size glass.
Also I'm sure it's been brought up before but what on earth is Dobson doing in a bar?

Nah, the way it's drawn the cup is clearly being knocked over by that forced pose on his hand. Dobson removed the third panel where he swears as beer get splashed all over his good shirt.
