There is an aspect called time in this. If something happened to me years ago. I am willing to forget that. Not because it's something I am happy with today. But it's ancient history. I had good reason being mad with phil, and also with this subforum at some point in time. Belive it or not it was actually an intense time. And quite funny at times. But the time energy and money spent on it was just ridiculous. That or anything similar will never happen again.

If you think this is some return to my old ways as a DSP advocate you are fucking insane. That was absolutely stupid. I am just more neutral to the whole matter now. Which mean I also view this witch hunt thing some people have going on kind of ridiculous. Being away from the bubbling cauldron for an extended period of time you realize that this isn't a zero sum game, but a carnival game that has one set of expected outcomes no matter how you play it. It's like a nor gate. Both inputs have to be a negative to achieve a positive result. Any other configuration will give you a negative output. The only thing that works is negative logic. If I would ask the question why you are on a forum discussing phil it would be "it's because he is shit, I don't like him" You're in a community centered towards a streamer and It's all negative and no one should support him. But it's still a fairly positive thing in and of it self.

I am not trying to be hostile towards anyone here. I mostly agree with what is being said about phil. I think he can be greedy, have a bad attitude, and be very unapologetic, selfish, and confrontational. But that is also the source of entertainment with phil. And I also se an ounce of humanity in him. I simply hate cookie cutter streamers with a fake positive attitude, that are just like phil inside and not honest about it. I wish there where more, DSP, WIngs, and LTG, Ralphs and other various streamers like them. They are much more interesting then whatever the opposite of that might be. You obviously hate me for that, but I don't hate you. I find insults and negative ratings kind of charming to be honest with you.

As far as actually being able to stomach content about Phil and enjoy it, that comes in bursts, he does jack shit for about a month or two other than insult his paypigs and then he has an outburst of drama. I've followed him on and off for 4 years now and just recently felt interested enough to make an account here. Now that he's nestled into youtube agin he'll draw from his piglets for a while and eventually I'm sure we'll have some more dumb shit to talk about. I think he's gonna calm down for a bit now, unless twitch/youtube actually does something to make him have another outburst somehow.

Thanks. It just makes my brain hurt with the semantics and lies hes says but doesn't remember lol. the narcissism and ego are great given he is horrible at 90% of games yet been an internet gamer for his 12 year legacy. Not putting on his glasses makes my laugh too because his sight is Mr. Magoo level. He's also too dim to see he is his own worst enemy like others have said. I think the gamer word slip was truly a slip...I bet he uses it in private though. Tipster and others said he didn't say it but you can here igg and not an egg sound. His lashing out at fans whether trolls or not is so bad. I believe this is overall why Twitch dropped him and grounds for hateful language. Keep it 100% my stationary neger lol.
 
I hope all of the mentally ill trolls that were making fake Derich accounts are happy now, DSP couldn't give The Real Derich a bullshit answer about his favorite Gen 1 pokemon for a whole hour.

Was he completely oblivious to those copycat Derish accounts in the stream chat all impersonating him? Because that shit was hilarious and the gestapo mods didn't do jack to alleviate the situation.

That was actually an interesting point that, unless I missed it, I havent seen mentioned in this thread. There was that weird beef between last night's $200 whale and the mod (I think Madara), where the whale got banned during his tip. DSP scolded his foot soldiers for being a bit too harsh (read- potentially cutting off a whale) and it was revealed that only DSP can unban accounts. After that, it seems that the mods were hesitant to moderate at risk of being yelled at by DSP again. Basically, just another chill, positive stream.

The Derich shit is even funnier now knowing the real one was in their flailing for attention the whole time. This is a good way to troll DSP on youtube. You're not giving him any money, the mods don't do jack about it, and it pisses DSP and future serial killer Derich off.

I don't want to derail the thread, but being new I haven't got to speak to a lot of detractor types and my friends know little about Dave...they know he scratched his leg for like 5 minutes though lol. I have lurked for about 2 years here and somewhat familiar with the mahds and regulars. Anyway, I was curious how many can still even watch a majority of a re-stream anymore? I started getting detractor vids like MightyD and Snort Burnell in my recommended around late 2018. I watched these vids for about a year and can no longer do it really...certain ones like David Davidsons newest do get my attention though. I watched a lot of Turvin and LSB vids/streams. The darkdave re-streams I can't stand because he puts lawn mowers over Dave but sometimes makes gold dust had to collect. After awhile I can only come here to read or maybe listen to a pre-stream hissy. Dave, on top of sounding gross, only repeats the same things over and over. Its the same excuse or lie. I got to the point where I can just predict(I know its not hard) what he'll say. I know its probably been said but the dude is in a 5 year ground hog day type movie with streaming and the lost partnership just makes it funnier. He rolls outta bed, turns on the stream, eats takeout, drinks a handle of gin, buys pulls, and then whines on twitter 6 days a week. Also, everyone here gets that he whines on his one day off when he is supposedly with his Kat Thee Stallion and his fur son. I don't get mad because he is in his own hell and has no backup should being a "variety streamer" fail. The overall luck and things he's escape is jaw dropping at first but after watching for awhile you just assume he won't even get a slap on the wrist. I'm curious where others are at? Thanks

I used to like Mighty D, however after somewhat getting to know him I can't deal with who he is as a person and cannot stomach his content.
If you just want Phil's stream with no added sound effects and don't want to give Phil a view, you can find such a stream here.
Since you know about David Davidson, LSB and Tevin you can look up other YouTubers like Agent Proper, An1337 and Ludwig World Order who just recently started streaming.
If you want quick updates on Twitter, you can go to Josh Poem, No Context DSP Chat, MrStuff and many others you can find from there. They all do their own thing, and they do it really well so there is no need to ever watch Phil's content raw.

What gets me is that Phil doesn't even address certain changes as long as it relates to things he doesn't want to talk about, like if he suddenly shaves his head, you think he's going to explain that away? No, he's just going to start wearing beanies all the time and never talk about why.

Put no stock in comments about things feeling weird. When it actually is, to him, you won't hear about it at all.

Isn't Derich the only guy who can get Phil's attention without giving him money?

Which, BTW, that by itself raises serious questions about Phil. As if we didn't have enough cause to think there is something seriously uncouth about the motherfucker.

Was this dynamic not known before? I could have swore it was well understood that there's an unspoken rule about moderators doing anything to whalechairs, and Phil being the only one with ban removal power is rather a given, since he's Phil.
 
I second @Nigel of Ukip and his recommendation of an1337’s restreams. Since LSB and Tevin rarely restream Dave anymore, when an1337 decides to restream with commentary it’s always a great time. An also clips relevant Dave insanity with the quickness.
 
Dick stroking Phil vlogs seems to have made a comeback. His vids are pure comedy and perfectly highlight the walking contradiction that is DSP. And if you haven't watched the el crimson king puppet shit, I suggest you do lmao even though it's quite old.

I'm thrilled. It further exposes his bullshit.

We mustn't forget that Phil hardcore-begged for ~3 weeks and said he'd have to leave Twitch if he didn't get paid $400/day. This threat worried his most ardent of supporters, and miraculously they delivered and rose, stepped-up if you will, and met his ridiculous demand.

Then, after running his final big scam with the ME marathon bullshit, he was gone less than 24hrs later.

THEN he had the audacity to make sure superchats & memberships were ready for his first stream, with less than 4 hours notice,

AND then blatantly scammed the viewers by not having the superchats count toward the STILL inflated $200 tips goal.

AND THEN, 3 days after receiving $1,300 cash, and claiming he'd be good for a week (LOL) he still shamelessly begged for tips & became noticeably annoyed that people were superchatting $100s because they weren't tips.

He also plans on having a "members only" chat which, effectively, excludes Derich from participating.

I'd say I feel bad for the Twitch paypigs but I actually don't. If they didn't know they were being grifted by a grifter who has been grifting them pretty much non-stop for 4 years, that's on them.

This is too long, but it's hilarious that Phil thinks he can get a few hundred members on YT. Unless they implement "gifted memberships" or cut a deal with Costco so that members will get one free YT membership per month, he won't even sniff close to 200. Not to mention what a wasteland of an only members chat would be, if implemented.

I understand he had some help with the stationary ban but I have no doubt that he was planning to move, regardless. That's just his dumb, weird, pigroach luck that gave him a tiny shred of justification for moving.

That's why I didn't even think about a lot of what you just pointed out, because I'm so used to him begging and then showing just how much he was full of shit. I mean when has he ever acknowledged, with actions, the fact that his retards gave him the money he demanded in order to do or not do something?

But yes, fishy as fuck. Him streaming on Twitch was supposed to be predicated on financial support, and then suddenly, after getting exactly that, Twitch supposedly finally tells him that he was de-partnered over hateful slurs? And that now his hand is being forced? Anybody else, maybe I could believe that, but not Phil. I'm not saying this was a plan, so much as him just simply not giving a fuck about delivering on what he begs for money over. Why else get nasty with people when they request some transparency, right?
