I just want to echo this again. If this is actually Twitch's exact wording (which like some of you I think is a little doubtful, but we'll roll with it here for the lulz) then DSP wasn't just released for a single instance of saying nigger or some stupid shit like that. "inappropriate conduct", do they mean like gaslighting people by telling them they are idiots. I may be reading too much in to it but that's 100% what I get from that.

Thoughts? Thots?

Edit: "Section 4.2.7 Appropriate conduct agreement"? Someone got that?

Hateful Conduct and Harassment​


Hateful conduct and harassment are not allowed on Twitch. Hateful conduct is any content or activity that promotes or encourages discrimination, denigration, harassment, or violence based on the following protected characteristics: race, ethnicity, color, caste, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, and veteran status. We also provide certain protections for age. Twitch has zero tolerance for hateful conduct, meaning we act on every valid reported instance of hateful conduct. We afford every user equal protections under this policy, regardless of their particular characteristics.


Harassment has many manifestations, including stalking, personal attacks, promotion of physical harm, hostile raids, and malicious false report brigading. Sexual harassment, specifically, can take the form of unwelcome sexual advances and solicitations, sexual objectification, or degrading attacks relating to a person’s perceived sexual practices.


We will take action on all instances of hateful conduct and harassment, with an increasing severity of enforcement when the behavior is targeted, personal, graphic, or repeated/prolonged, incites further abuse, or involves threats of violence or coercion. The most egregious violations may result in an indefinite suspension on the first offense.

This was updated in April of this year. I'm not sure if this is for ALL users, but since they don't distinguish between user and streamer, I assume 'user' means ALL users of the website. I know that twitch' rules and regulations are memey and a big joke for the most part, but since Phil isn't a partner anymore, he may have been subject to these rules more now than when he was a partner.
 
I can imagine the conversation Phil had with his wife when he told her about the Twitch stuff:
Phil: *walks in to Kat's "office", blaring the drum roll sound byte from his toy*
Phil: Well, Kat, after four weeks, Twitch finally gave me a reason.....
Kat: I don't care.

Sure, I just wish I could see the Twitch partner agreement for two reasons, one to clarify what twitch is talking about when they say hateful slurs, and two to see if DSP is full of shit and if that section of the agreement is even there.

If anyone knows any Twitch partners maybe ask.

He really does live up to his name doesn't he? Not really the way that he thinks it means though.

Just like the reason the majority of people follow this gout ridden toxic shit head, it's not because he's a pahsitive variety streamer with a successful 10 year+ legacy, it's because he's a narcissistic drama queen slowly deluding himself into thinking that people who say mean things about him all these years are all working together against him to take him down.

I'm not going to come down in any side of the Frozen Peaches issue but had Phil been an employee anywhere his language would've had him canned decades ago, and as others have said, as a Twitch partner he was an ambassador for the brand and making them money. Companies don't want assholes carrying their implicit endorsement. That ain't new.

Between this and superhound's asian sock being banned on suspicion of being a chinese propaganda bot as well as some random ethot I would not be surprised if his vortex of autism eventually gets some high level politician taking notice of, if not being sucked in by the vortex. This Pigroach's luck and ability to disrupt things is on a near cosmic level.
 
I'm a bit late but this whole entitled rant demanding public excuses, never using hate speech delusion and vitriol reeked of mental illness.

It's obvious he's always been a lying, deluded dumb sack of shit that plays on words but today he upped his game to new whole level and sadly legit got me mad.

This has probably already been brought up but the last 15 pages or so were a fucking whirlwind, so apologies if this point has already been made.

Is DSP taking into consideration Twitch's off-platform conduct? Because he's gotten into some pretty wild Twitter disagreements and god knows what he has floating around Youtube or Instagram, also his own forum might be a factor. If they did an investigation into his conduct they wouldn't be limiting said investigation to just what he does on Twitch, even though that seems to be the crux of his complaint; that he's never said a hateful slur on Twitch.

Obviously he's misunderstanding what Twitch means by hateful slurs (his mind immediately went to racism and homophobia while ignoring his incessant gaslighting, use of ableist slurs against his viewers, more sexist slurs like "bitch" and "whore" etc) but it should be pointed out if it hasn't already that Twitch takes into account of your off-platform conduct too.

I don't even think Twitch is accounting for off-platform conduct when considering DSP. Mans had a whole serious about "top 10 racist remarks." If that doesn't catch their attention, then nothing will.

It is a completely valid point. Why is a pattern of hateful speech enough to be departnered but not removed entirely from the website? It doesn't make sense. I would have bet money his departenering was for the exclusivity period because it fit so well.

Sure I considered that, but most of that shit is pretty old and few of them include more recent stuff (from what I recall). But in the last couple of years DSP has been getting more and more wild on Twitter and I'm wondering if his go-to insults that heavily focus on someone's mental faculties played a role in this decision.

Recently Twitch have gotten really big on snuffing out ableism and that's DSP's favorite kind of slur. Retard, idiot, dunce, mentally ill, paranoid, insane, etc etc.
