At this point, Dobson has burnt all his bridges, leaving him with practically no allies. His earlier work makes him a shitlord in the eyes of SJWs, his Anti-GamerGate shit has alienated GamerGaters, his creepy fetishes have repulsed any women from approaching him and his unprofessional and unpleasant demeanor has destroyed any chance of him having a career as an artist. Dobson's in limbo, living the same pathetic existence day in day out. And the best part about all of this? He only has himself to blame.

I feel like we're approaching the end of the Dobson era, because honestly, how much longer can he himself go on like this? He'll be whittled down to nothing and he'll have no audience or talent to back up any kind of professional artistic job in the real world.
By the end of, maybe, next year, he'll be back at square one and quit art entirely, and go do an office job. Or kill himself.

No; he's too much of an arrogant and stubborn shitmonger to do that; he didn't quit when he realized he was at best mediocre. He didn't quit when he fucked over all his bridges. He will literally not stop with this until he dies, since he's too egotistical to have the sense to bow out and quit.

Death from eating McDonalds like everyday is my guess. IE his heart just shrugs, goes fuck it, and quits. Or he dies of a blood clot due to sitting on his ass all day sperging about vidya.

Of all the cows, I think Dobby will be the one who ends up intentionally killing himself. He's just so pathetic and has no future in his dream career.
I actually think he does hate himself. He isn't getting professional help. I think he'll reach a point he will just give up.
It's really sad. I think he's an asshole, but I always have a hope he'll get better. But I just don't see it.

Dobson's fanbase is bigger than that, unfortunately. He's been around for many years. Fortunately, most of the people who give him views nowadays are those who make fun of him.
I don't think he'll ever go away. SYAC is the Garfield of webcomics.

It'll take longer than that for any significant change to happen as he is too lazy, incompetent, stubborn and entitled to do anything that could get him out of his current routine of mediocrity. As long as he has a day job to keep him from becoming homeless, there is really no reason for him to take any major changes in his views and life choices. Some outside force would have to exert some "point of no return" scenario where he has to either realize his "art career" is a complete fool's errand and that he has to do something else with his life. Best guess is that his family has to do a sort of intervention, put before him an ultimatum of sorts for him to stop being such a fucking loser and start becoming a useful person. Clearly he is not cut out to be a source of creative endeavour, neither as a story teller, animator or artist. He'll. Have to be force to accept that he is not cut out for such pursuits and instead should just be someone doing something that has nothing to do with being known or famous, admired or followed in any way. The best thing that can happen toDobson is to fade into anonymity.
Otherwise I believe this obsession he has for being noticed and praised but getting nothing but ridicule and scorn is starting to chip away at his sanity and then things can go really south. He quit DA, his art is regressing, his Patreon endeavor is a failure his comics and stories have gone nowhere and he is barely working on art anymore, meanwhile his former classmates have successful careers that further highlight his failures. He has to be forced to call it quits or he might actually do something that will not be able to fix and ruin his life.
