This is part of why Tevin's restream triggered him so much.
Tevin had left DSP alone for a period of time, DSP "praised" Tevin and had effectively crossed a bully off his 'People To Cobra' list. But when DSP got KO'd by Twitch, Tevin jumped from the bushes and shouted "nigga you got knocked the fuck out!" in his face while he was down. This whole situation puts DSP on the backfoot regarding his rivalry with Tevin, he has no upper hand or high horse anymore. Tevin is the partner, DSP is the one in the doghouse.

This reminds me of an old Tevin video where someone asks DSP if he would ever forgive Tevin and he says "if Tevin apologized to me I'd accept it" or something like that, and Tevin says "I would never apologize to you DSP you're a faggot." What DSP forgot was that just because Tevin went off to do his own thing, it doesn't mean he no longer thinks all the same things he always thought about DSP.

Opinions on DSP are effectively a one way street. Very few if any people go from shitting on DSP to liking him, the best he can hope for is being forgotten by people who shit on him, but to use a phrase he loves that's a "double edged sword" because his shred of relevancy only exists because he's a lolcow.

I think that DSP genuinely believed that his "challenge" was what got Tevin to stop restreaming. In his mind, he probably thought tevin said "wow I've been so nasty and toxic to Phil and his family even though he just wants to have fun and play games. I'm going to take up his challenge and do my own thing" when in reality none of his views on DSP changed.

I think the attachment/priority society has put on technology and digital interactions over in-person is the beginning of the end; Covid certainly didn't help, now people are afraid to go outside, and everyone getting paid more not to work...

I don't either in the sense of getting wound up or assmad over it since ultimately it is money that's well and truly squandered. I have no real investment in any contributor and never really give them much thought because they themselves have become just another sort of currency that's used to buoy the streams because phil himself is a terrible host who can't manage to keep things interesting on his own. I just think when he is being given less it serves the stream itself better because desperate phil is less reticent when the goals haven't been met, more prone to lashing out and getting visibly more jittery because he's taken it for granted for so long he truly expects a guaranteed salary at the end of each day. If he meets the goals right away then he's just free to sizzle away for a few hours in sausage mode until gin o' clock.

One thing that's really fucked up if you think about it, but it's true - Phil wishes he had the trolls that someone like Wings or Drachenlord have. He wishes he'd have ultraspergs making security footage of the store he visited public, or to have prostitutes sent to his home. Why? Simple, he would actually legitimately look like a victim in those situations and all of his accusations of his trolls being mentally ill would be correct. Tevin's the best at doing that because simply because he has this almost uncanny ability to recall Phil contradicting himself 5 times in past live streams and he recalls exactly when those livestreams were even if they're years apart. Of course, there's also the collective of mentally ill conspiracy theorist motherfuckers that is this subforum calling him out daily and doing a great job archiving all of his lies, scams and other scumfuckery. That's the type of troll Phil fears the most, and for good reason.
