People aren't even being mean about offering advice on this. Goddamn, Dobson, get with the fucking program.

The willful idiocy is enough to make a girl's blood pressure rise like come on, man.
 
I'm pretty biased since I've been using PCs my whole life, but I find PCs to be way easier to navigate and to use Photoshop on then Macs. At one of my jobs I had to use this piece of shit iMac to make flyers, and using Photoshop was a nightmare. It's fine if Macs are what Dobson is comfortable with but since he wants gaming capabilities and a frame rate that isn't utterly horrible, a PC would be a better option. (I think they might be a cheaper option too, depending on what he chooses).
 
Why doesn't he get a cheap PC and just buy the components needed to play skyrim and put them in the PC
Hell, even I figured out how to put in and install a new disk drive into my so I think it would be in the realms of understand for ol' Dobbles

That's the thing, when Dobs ask for "opinion" he's actually asking for "tell me I'm right" comments. If anyone says ANYTHING remotely different from what Dobson is proposing, that person is dumb or "not helping" at all.
I say we encourage him to buy the crappy Xbox 360, let him waste his money and get into far more trouble than expected and a little while later read his complains on how it didn't worked at all and how nobody warned him about this.

The irony is that those two images on the computers should probably be swapped.

No men = subconsciously no competition maybe? (Even though they aren't real) The female equivalent seems to be gay fan fiction.

Off Topic:
In Japan where they seem to be pioneers in pandering they've picked up on the trend and have shows aimed directly at this type of audience where it's a PG happy adventure kind of manga/anime but most or all of the characters are female and sometimes implied lesbians. (Aside from the implied lesbians I think Hasbro's My Little Pony stumbled onto this formula too, the fan bases are VERY similar)
