I wouldn't say they were mad that Angelica got vaporised, more that they're empowered to rise up against their oppressors as they now know that they can be killed.

Doing some late-night computer maintenance before my airport odyssey begins- thought I would make a few quick responses.

I would imagine that there would be few die-hard Chris fantards in CWCVille even after his fallout. Plus as I'll have to show later, Walsh is a fairly strict mayor and probably isn't as easily well loved as the affable Chandler and his amazing Frank-Sinatra-esque golden pipes, so she may have a few detractors.

Plus, y'know, seeing a PVCC agent obliterate a well-known member of the community probably would raise some hecklers as well.

Don't worry, she's not dead. One of my personal pet peeves is when a comic decides to kill a character off-panel and just carry on. As it is, I wouldn't actually be offing any character like that. And no, Lolisa isn't dying on-page anytime soon either (not being cryptic, just that I write in a "no one is safe" mindset.).

As for where she is, she's still chilling with Madman Mitch and the Funky Bunch down in Magi-Chan's bunker. The storyline is (thankfully) heading that way so you'll be seeing her again soon. Oh, and a surprise or two are inbound as well. La la la laaaaa.....

I was originally planning it as a one-off, but honestly I kind of liked it. Maybe make it into an annual sort of thing, give myself a break from the usual pages for a couple of weeks. Dunno if it would be a comic-noir style again a second time however, maybe do it in another fashion. Like write everything like it came from a Garth Ennis comic... wait I do that normally. Or Jim Steranko where everything is psychadelic and everyone runs funky. Or go Full Liefeld and be able to make five pages in a day. Or do what everyone is hoping for and make a 32-page doujinshi of Bubbles' Super Sexy Adventures... you sick animals, you.

I would have had something done yesterday, but people at work decided to be exceptional asshats and I got to work until 9pm last night. Today was supposed to be a day off but still had to deal with work. Also, I was updating the directory, but somehow managed to erase all the links for the main pages.

So... guess I'll finally have to get around to purchasing a web account somewhere to host the comic as well as this thread. And work is an asshole- gonna ignore them tomorrow and head out of town and buy something spergy.

For now, here's the pencils and text for the next page. Apologies for not being able to keep the deadlines I want to keep.
