I seriously doubt he paid to have that song copyrighted in the first place. It's more about putting his stamp on it and using that in the event that somebody tries to steal it.

Like anybody would want to steal that song. The melody is simplistic, the lyrics are terrible and sure the Romanian stripper is hotter than anything Pipsqueak would ever have a chance with in a brothel or for real but she's hardly a draw for the video. It's just a flex on his part to make himself seem more successful than he really is.

It's probably a good thing and an indication that your real life is more interesting than mine, but your post shows a fundamental lack of understanding of Russ' character. He can't not attempt to collect and exhibit the legal accoutrements of a life in the entertainment "biz" any more than he can regrow a facial nerve and untwist his cursed frame (the word "untwist" came to mind here because I happened to just think of an Oscar Wilde line, not necessarily in conjunction to Russ -- "My mouth is twisted with kissing, and I feed on fevers").
