Kowloon Walled City is simply one of the most amazing things in human history and it's a damn shame it was torn down.
Living there must have been miserable, visiting it would be hell, but something about that sprawling mess of a city on top of a city on top of a city is just so crazy and intriguing.
It's like some cyberpunk setting, only it existed decade ago. It's like something straight out of the manga "Blame!". I love it.

If I should ever run a Cyberpunk2020 game, it would take place at least partially in something inspired by Kowloon.
