It would not shock me if the jury found him guilty of manslaughter, but from what I've seen there's zero evidence of murder here. Hell, I don't even think the prosecution determined a definitive cause of death; just a bunch of ways Chauvin COULD have killed him.

The jury will have the entire document with them on paper to consult. Both sides will argue about these specific issues. One weak point I see is the prosecution has to show Chauvin actually was aware of a risk of death or grave bodily harm, not just that he should have been. How could he know this drugged up felon had a million medical things wrong with him that would cause him to die from something that would not kill a normal person?

Chauvin doesn't "beat" any of the charges. In fact, he has to go through the entire process again. The charges aren't dropped in a mistrial.

In the same vein, the MSM/CNN can claim that the judge delayed the mob's gratification because IT WAS SO OBVIOUS that the prosecution proved Chauvin was guilty, but a racist judge ruined their case.

It's been stated multiple times that if it's declared a mistrial because of the prosecution dicking around, there can be no retrial.
If it is classified as a mistrial for other reasons, you are correct.

Since he’s circled back to it throughout the trial, it’ll probably be featured in his closing argument (or should be).

I’ve been restraining myself to not post in this Happenings thread since I keep seeing a lot of pessimism and optimism on whether or not Null or all the other posters on here are waiting to see if there is going to be a mistrial.

If we are right, I know for a fact that I’m going to act just like Christopher from The Sopranos when they held an intervention for him to tell the harsh truth that he doesn’t want to hear.

In this case, I’m going to play the role of Chris and the rest of the mafia will be my family members, who just happen to be black.

Except I don’t think what they did was intentional.

The only remaining cause of death is some kind of heart problem brought on by drugs and clogged arteries, neither of which can be attributed to Chauvin.

Even with those, wasn’t the argument that Chaivin’s actions and knee pushed George into the grave? That’s what I think the prosecution shifted to after they couldn’t establish direct death.

I don't know if gun sale volume can go much higher, the supply is so low right now that they physically cannot meet existing demand for firearms and ammunition. Prices will continue to skyrocket for some things, but that happens every time a dem gets into office.
