The first guy was the driver. He's the one who drove a couple blocks away. Meanwhile, Lane and the guy who is testifying now were in the back of the ambo trying to get Floyd started again.

Both of the paramedics are just walking through what they saw when they got to the scene, what steps they took to resuscitate him, and so forth. The TL;DR is that Floyd was dead when they got there. No big Perry Mason moments so far.
