I honestly think June’s little “I wanna be a housewife and have no rights uwu” larp is pretty misogynistic and disrespectful towards stay at home moms. Women like June want to be housewife’s not out of any nurturing personality, or even out of gender politics, but because they want to be NEETs. I am not someone who believes women should have to stay at home, but I still respect women who do. Taking care of a home by yourself is hard and often unthanked work. Women who take care of their home and the people in it are not brain dead bimbos like June seems to think.

It's going to take until early 2023, at best, for recreational sales to begin. Like when people say covid restrictions will loosen in the coming months, I'll believe something the government says when I see it. Of course June is retarded enough to not look literally at the state 4 hours away that legalized recreational weed (Massachusetts) to see how their "quick" timeline for recreational sales took about a year after legalization—and that timeline included fights over zoning.

I wonder who's even going to pursue opening up dispensaries in NY. It's obviously gonna be a bureaucratic red tape nightmare that's beyond super-regulated and taxed all to hell with loads of liability. Also, the Mob probably won't be happy about it or maybe they'll strong-arm their way into an official, state-sanctioned weed monopoly. No thanks.

The agricultural industry will be corporatized (why do you think it takes so long from legislation to sales?), but who knows about the dispensary side. The problem really is zoning. I'd be surprised if there were dispensaries in Manhattan selling recreationally. In the Boston area, you have to go to the outlying areas for the most part for recreational dispensaries. Unless you're a medical patient and get delivery, but that's absolutely retarded because a medical card allows the state to infringe on your second amendment right to bear arms. Regardless, because of the corporate control that will be baked into the industry on purpose, the prices will be high enough to support a functioning black market—just like Massachusetts.

In Denver, when legal weed was completely novel (but still medical, not rec), there were dispensaries on nearly every corner for a while. Though I don't care about weed, it was actually pretty trashy and seedy (no pun intended). Zoning in certain parts of CO is likely more relaxed than the NE, though.

Anyway, June is not cool, young, or hip. Weed will not improve or enhance her content. She is so annoying.

It actually looks quite sad. And that's not really gendered in being pathetic, either. Past college, being a 420 bro/gal is quite pitiful. You should be working or developing yourself, leaving the weed to free time on weekends or special occasions. A guy in his 30s who is all "weed is tight bro" with such enthusiasm is looked at as a deadbeat. A girl who does it is no better. There's a big difference between saying "Yeah responsible use of marijuana by adults is better than alcohol, as long as it doesn't infringe on your normal working life or relationships, and it opens a new source of tax revenue/tourism revenue for the state," and "OMG!!! WEED MAN 420 BLAZE IT FELLOW TEENS."
