We're getting to a point where parents don't want their children to be responsible for their actions. Instead of recognizing that they committed some wrong or messed up in some fashion, they just want to scream and shout about how mean people are being to their precious little snowflake. A society is being created where people don't learn how to handle themselves or criticism, and that scares me.
Yes, autism is a developmental issue that some of our subjects have. Yes, it can make things difficult for them. But as a parent it's your responsibility to prepare them for the world. Instead, parent's now want to prepare the world for them.
